Headlines like this will contribute to risk off sentiment in stocks which will create pressure on crypto and altcoins to give back some of the gains from the bear market lows
🚨JUST OUT: Google $GOOGL PLUNGES over 9% after hours on an earnings MISS, and its AI infrastructure spending pushes free cash flow NEGATIVE. Alphabet spent $51.4 BILLION on capex in the quarter, leaving free cash flow at NEGATIVE $9.07 BILLION despite revenue rising 25% to $127.58 BILLION. EPS came in at $2.12 vs $3.00 expected, with the miss traced to an $8.7 BILLION loss on equity investments. Google Cloud was the bright spot, surging 103% to $30.71 BILLION and beating by $1.6 BILLION.

Depending on whether you measure from August 21st or September 21st, Bitcoin has been ranging for around 70 days or 40 days. It is starting to feel like watching paint dry all over again. But this is something you have to get used to. The market spends most of its time moving sideways. The big moves up and down account for only a small fraction of the time, but they are what attract the most attention. X and social media in general can be an amazing source of inspiration. But over these past two months, I have seen various accounts I follow on X, accounts I generally consider to be good, repeatedly share their views that the pullback is over and it is time to move higher. Sometimes, looking too much at other people’s opinions does you more harm than good. You end up in a state of analysis paralysis, unsure of what to trust. I am still looking for a bigger flush in altcoins and Bitcoin. My reasoning is primarily that many coins, including BTC, rallied significantly in a short period of time, leaving many people sitting on unrealized profits. I want to see some liquidity swept and a portion of those unrealized gains wiped out. Simply put, I want to see liquidity being taken and people starting to doubt whether we are in an early bull phase, which I am convinced we are. Open the BTC chart and jump to January to October 2023. That is roughly where I believe we are right now. We have had the first move up, and from here, I expect choppy price action designed to catch retail traders offside. Once this period is over, I believe a strong upward bull trend awaits us. Timing is always very difficult, but I expect things to really pick up during 2027. Right now, it is about surviving time based capitulation, and market makers will do their best to catch people offside.

Gold - $XAU Still haven't met my downside target of $3875 Can take a long time before moving higher, remember that gold went up for two years straight It takes time to digest this kinda move

$PONS looks very bullish after this 78% decline. The risk/reward is a lot better at these levels. I’m watching for a reaction in this green zone and targeting $1.65 as my first upside target, a 5x move.

Bitcoin - $BTC Lots of people wondering where Bitcoin is going next Two camps, bottom is in or new lows ahead I am in the first camp, bottom is in But people are inpatient, they trade lower timeframes Lower timeframe is a lot harder to get right because the amount of factors increase by a lot You walk into the algorithmic meat grinders On the 1D & 3D timeframe there were some pretty severe divergences I am not sure has fully played out yet Will be watching for more weakness in the coming days ahead

I know most people are likely not deeply familiar with the way trend indicators work, but I use them quite a lot as a bias tool, both on the long term and short term. Long-term, my view is bullish; I think the bottom is in. Short-term, I still expect some liquidity to be taken on lower timeframes, meaning I am expecting a pullback. But knowing from what level is super hard. Looking at most trend indicators, $ETH, $SOL, and a lot of altcoins have lost the bullish momentum and turned bearish. I would therefore expect this small pump to be a way for market makers to lure in bulls before ultimately sending prices lower. I can, of course, be wrong because no one truly knows what will happen. In a way, everyone is guessing. But I think there are a lot better entries coming for altcoins.
Looking at $BTC, $ETH & $SOL, there is a lot of liquidity on lower timeframes that could be grabbed. I think it should be clear to most at this point that there is a serious possibility of us revisiting these lower levels to shake people out. From many bulls, I've heard that up only is the most painful scenario. Just because up only would be the most painful doesn't mean it will happen. I really have a hard time believing market makers will let retail get away with murder by longing the pumps with leverage, only to not clear some of that liquidity. To be clear, I am a HTF bull, and I don't necessarily believe we need to fill all the gaps that have been left. But do I believe we will fill some? Absolutely.

I think when looking at Bitcoin dominance that altcoins can have huge gains in the coming 12-24 months $BTC.D is at 60% and never fell last cycle, I don't think that is the case this time This cycle it feels more logical that alts will overperform when no one belives they will

Soluna holdings is at the time of writing down -48.76% in 1 month. If $SLNH is going to bounce, it is going to be from here. Break of $0.38 and lights are out. RSI on the daily is sub 20 so very oversold. But ffs don't put your life savings in it. Risk management is key on stocks like this.

I have been looking into Lighter lately and I like it a lot. Great beta play to Hyperliquid, but $LIT is a standalone project with buybacks, revenue, and the security of settling on Ethereum being an L2. Biggest risks are competition and the upcoming vesting schedule starting in 2027, which is going to be larger than the buybacks and burns. However, I remain optimistic for 2027 and think Lighter will have a great year. Watching the green area for support into new ATHs. The future belongs to the optimists.
