Providence Police are asking for help identifying a juvenile seriously injured in a crash involving an electric scooter at Broad St. & Atlantic Ave.
He is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approx. 15–16 years old, 5’9”, 120 lbs., with curly brown hair. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and riding a black scooter with red markings.
📞 If you know who he may be, please call PPD at 401-272-3121. Investigators are urgently trying to identify him and locate a parent/guardian.

ATTN: Yard waste collection may be delayed beginning Monday, 8/31. Residents should place yard waste out as usual and leave it curbside if it is not collected. Crews will continue working throughout the week to complete any delayed pickups.

More than 300 illegal ATVs and dirt bikes have been seized since I took office.
Today, I joined Chief Perez to highlight the work of the Providence Police Department’s Neighborhood Response Team and the progress we’re making to address illegal ATV activity, reckless driving, pop-up parties and quality-of-life concerns across our city.
We’re also working with our Parks Department to help protect Roger Williams Park from late-night takeovers and illegal activity, while keeping it safe and welcoming for families, neighbors and visitors.

As you start your spring cleanup, please place leaves, grass, and small yard debris in paper bags or barrels labeled with “Yard Debris Only” stickers.
Stickers are available at DPW (75 Chapman St.) and City Hall (Suite 104).

Our new trash and recycling carts are up for delivery in the neighborhoods highlighted yellow! It will take two to three weeks to complete deliveries in these areas, then we’ll move onto the next set of delivery routes.
✅When it’s your turn, place ALL of your carts out, even if they’re empty, and leave them there until at least 6 p.m.
✅Delivery of new trash and recycling carts will continue until early June. Your new carts will be delivered and your old carts will be removed on one of your normal trash and recycling collection days during that period.
✅If you got your new carts, but your old carts weren't picked up, fill out our missed delivery or removal form at providenceri.gov/carts/ or call the Mayor’s Center for City Services by dialing 3-1-1. Trash and recycling in old carts will not be collected
