This is questionable at best. France has a massive welfare state. Gigantic. They do not lack for public sector expenditure.
- French public spending accounts for an almost incomprehensible 57.2% of GDP
- the French deficit is 5.1% of GDP and the debt to GDP ratio is 115%
- France spends more on education on both a relative and absolute basis than the EU average
France can't meaningfully increase public spending. they are maxed out. Their 10-year bond trades at a higher yield than Italy or Greece, historical basket cases.
so, it's not about public spending. France is an insanely lavish welfare state to the point of serious dysfunction.

my own synthesis is that it's a disparate coalition of loosely affiliated leftist groups brought together for one valid reason alongside a bunch of ... less valid ones
- primary motive: french fiscal chaos due to massive spending on seniors at the expense of the youth (valid)
- secondary motive: un-assimilated immigrants airing racial grievances against french society
- secondary motive: islamists engaging in a show of force and aiming to claim more sovereignty in a general campaign to carve out a share of governance in french society
- secondary motive: french kids that want an opportunity to feel self righteous for vague, indeterminate reasons, more of a social occasion. general antifa/green/pro palestine sympathies
- at the same time: opportunists taking advantage of the disorder to commit arson, theft, and loot

The level of retardation happening in Canada rn almost surpasses belief. Let me try and explain:
Canada has race-based sentencing guidelines. Native criminals are supposed to get shorter sentences than white criminals because the courts are required to consider racism, colonialism, etc.
But at the same time, people who kill or assault native women are supposed to get longer sentences than people who kill or assault white women. Because, again, racism, colonialism, etc,
The problem?
It’s mostly native men killing and assaulting native women.
And liberal judges have been caught in the legislative middle, wobbling stupidly on this comically high tightrope from which a fall to either side is a snake-filled pit of inevitable racism accusations.
If they start cracking down on the killers and abusers of native women, the native male prison population will explode (racist).
If they don’t, they are making it effectively legal for native women to be killed and abused (also racist).
It’s like shitlib zugzwang.
And no one in this entire country seems to have an IQ high enough to figure out how to deal with this.

This applies to only a small percentage of men, and even fewer of these have access to women young enough to have large families with. And even among the guys that DO have this access, even fewer of those women are interested in anything serious with them
It's much harder at 40 than 30 to date a 25 year old, and it's even harder to find one who will marry you.
Not, it's never "too late." But your realistic life window to find love is much smaller than your life window to find success.
YOU are a depreciating asset in romance; not just your physical body, but your capacity to pair-bond.
If you want the domestic life you say you do, don't put dating off.
