It looks like Bittensor is getting more to realisation that the chain never can be really decentralised i was attacked heavily for this take a few months back, incentives chain cant be decentralised and an agentic senate is only possible way to run this (unless Jacob managing himself) Decentralisation is not a necessity either, growth + striving for permissionless access in the extend possible is far more important

JUST IN: Robots get Solana wallets. @openroboto SN80 subnet on Bittensor integrates @peaqOS, letting devices be verified and paid for performance directly on Solana.

Microsoft just changed the game 🤯 They've open-sourced bitnet.cpp, a 1-bit LLM inference framework. It let's you run 100B parameter models on your local CPU without GPUs. - 6.17x faster inference - 82.2% less energy on CPUs 100% Open Source.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
bitnet.cpp was open-sourced by Microsoft in Oct 2024 (not recently). Docs confirm up to 6.17x speedup/82.2% less energy on x86 CPUs for supported models (official ~2B, community to ~8B); 100B claims are research benchmarks on non-public/synthetic setups. github.com/microsoft/BitN… arxiv.org/abs/2410.16144

“..."easy" enterprise client takes somewhere between 6-9 months. The hard ones, much longer… But once you land them, they stay with you for a long time." – Jose Caldera NEW PARTNERSHIP We are pleased to announce our newest partnership with a US based BaaS Sponsor Bank. We are under NDA so we cannot announce the name but let us explain what it is and what it means for us going forward. A sponsor bank is a chartered, FDIC-insured bank that lets fintechs and other Financial Institutions offer accounts, cards, or payments services through its charter. Our partner targets tech companies, especially those in high-growth sectors. ONE BECOMES MANY Yanez works on behalf of the bank to test the screening systems of its sponsored fintechs. Translation: every fintech the bank sponsors is then a potential client for Yanez. So the revenue potential with just this one client is enormous, with a potential for leading to multiple contracts. And this is just one sponsor bank of many. Each bank is a gateway that serves many fintechs, and each of those can become a client for us. Sponsor banks are scarce, the BaaS market is large. Our expansion is to add sponsor banks one at a time, with each one opening a pipeline of fintech clients. FIRST FINTECH CLIENT In fact, we are also pleased to announce our first paying fintech client under this bank. A mobile remittance app with coverage from several Western countries, with payouts in many destinations including South Asia and Africa. @yanez__ai

Just to be clear, this old sir had a subnet in $TAO Bittensor. SN90. It was one of the biggest failures we’ve ever seen. He failed spectacularly in every possible way. In the end, he sold the emissions he had received. Extractor.
Idiotic comment of the day. "Bitcoin is Boring". Full Disclosure: Jason is backing Tao. I am suing Tao. This is a coin marketed as "AI" which has nothing to do with AI. Run by a small group of Insiders. Pretending to be "inspired by Bitcoin". The exact opposite of what Bitcoin is.
