Good morning, hope you have a brilliant day & weekend, from 1969 this is the famous football scene from Kes. *The bandage on Brian Glover’s knee was actually a wrestling injury picked up as his alter ego Leon Arras (the man from Paris) earlier in the week.

🚨 "#ManCity wanted to break the status quo. That's the #PL we have. It's built for Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea to be more successful than others — City haven't done it to launder their money. They've pumped money in and gave it to other clubs" Exactly this!! 👏👏

No, the appeal stage is not the time to present new evidence. But that isn't what City is trying to do, according to Tom Morgan's reporting in the Telegraph.  Instead, City will argue that the panel's decision must be overturned because it improperly disregarded substantial evidence favorable to City, because the Premier League failed to meet its burden of proof, or both. City reportedly presented three categories of evidence demonstrating that its commercial revenue was not artificially inflated and that Mansour did not secretly finance its sponsorships: 1. A trove of contemporaneous records, including bank statements, receipts, government documents and correspondence. 2. Official correspondence from the Abu Dhabi government confirming its role as the source of the disputed sponsorship financing. 3. Testimony from 24 witnesses, including club executives, representatives of the sponsoring companies and government officials. The Premier League, on the other hand, relied overwhelmingly on the leaked emails we already know about and was unable to produce a single witness or any other document showing that Mansour secretly financed the sponsorships. In other words, the Premier League had a theory but City had all of the receipts. 🍻@Tom_Morgs #ManCity #mcfc #premierleague

Definitely not a fullback for me but has potential to be a world class central defender👌🏻
We need to talk about Khusanov. The pace and strength are already there, but being a top centre-back is about more than winning physical battles. His positioning, decision-making and knowing when to step out or hold the line still need work. He needs to learn from Rúben Dias and Vincent Kompany. Both understand what it takes to lead a defence and win major trophies with Manchester City. Khusanov has the raw talent to become a top defender, but if he can add that defensive intelligence to his physical ability, City could have a serious player on their hands.

Not one of his best games against PSG. Distribution was awful on the night which put us under pressure. Onwards & Upwards👌🏻
I still don’t understand how Donnarumma let this in….

🚨Neil Warnock: "When you get a group of players, no matter how much money they're on, it doesn't mean you're going to be successful. Not in a million years! Pep installed togetherness with De Bruyne and others. He blended them all. It won't taint my opinion of him" #ManCity #PL

Btw, nothing to do with the result - but PSG got a penalty for an apparent karate chop to the heel 😂 Reckless and dangerous.

🚨 Darrah MacAnthony 🗣"I think every Football club bends the rules where they can. It's just not out there in the open. They haven't had their internal documents leaked/stolen — there's probably a few clubs in the corner blushing, thinking thank god it's on them" 👀 #ManCity
