I’ll add one more thing: Russia actively jails or kills evangelical pastors in the territories they control. They are in cahoots with the Russian Orthodox Church. Ukraine, before the war, was the hub for evangelical missions and church planting in Eastern Europe. It’s the most evangelical country in that part of the world. They also kidnap and traffic young children. This is something Melania Trump has thankfully highlighted.

The extent of foreign involvement, including any coordination between the suspected actors, remains unverified. It warrants further investigation.

Russian security forces have cordoned off the Sennoy Market in St. Petersburg with the apparent aim of conscripting migrants for the war.
OMON (special police) units and regular police forces blocked the area around the market—located on Moskovsky Prospekt—preventing men from leaving after they had attended Friday prayers in a prayer room on the premises. Authorities are checking the documents of foreign nationals; in the case of individuals who have recently acquired Russian citizenship, they are also verifying whether they are properly registered in the military conscription system. Eyewitnesses reported that many men were handed summonses to report to a military commissariat.
The raid also extended to shops, cafés, and hostels in the immediate vicinity of the market. According to local media reports, several dozen people were detained for various offenses.

🏒 On 2 January 2023 a Russian missile completely destroyed the Altair ice arena in Druzhkivka, the home base of HC Dnipro and Donetsk Donbas, and the rink of the largest children’s hockey school in Ukraine.
🏒 On 16 April 2025 Russian troops, with four guided aerial bombs and artillery, completely destroyed the Favorit Arena ice palace in Kherson, the home base of HC Dnipro.
🏒 On 7 September 2025 Russia damaged in Kyiv the ice arena of HC Sokil.

▫️ Hordii Udovychenko, a young product of Kharkiv hockey, killed during a missile bombardment of residential quarters of Kharkiv.
▫️ Oleksandr Khmil (42), champion of Ukraine in 2007 with ATEK, a former national-team player. Killed in May 2023 near Bakhmut.
▫️ Makar Yerofieiev (24), a former player of the Dnipro clubs Zenit, Yastruby and Avrora. Killed on 11 November 2023 near Bakhmut by mortar fire.
▫️ Oleksii Lohinov (23), a former defenceman of Kyiv Sokil, silver medallist of the youth championship of Ukraine. Killed in November 2023.
