When the mission moves, the network moves with it. No operator input, no fixed infrastructure. Every node routes, every route adapts, and the data finds its way.

Every additional Wave Relay node doesn’t just add one connection. It multiplies the entire network. 1 radio → 0 possible connections 2 radios → 1 5 radios → 10 10 radios → 45 100 radios → 4,950 Formula: n(n-1)/2 When you field a new MPU5 on a soldier, vehicle, UAV, or sensor.. that node can route traffic to and through every existing node. Range extends. Redundancy increases. Available paths grow exponentially. The more MPU5s you employ, the stronger, more resilient, and more capable the whole network becomes. This is compounding combat power at the tactical edge. #WaveRelay #MPU5 #MANET #TacticalNetworking

Think about how much stuff you've got connected to you on an operation. Radio, EUD, headset, cables, USB hub, peripheral power source, and everything else you're trying to manage. The Dual PTT does more than just key your radio. It's powered directly by the MPU5, it's also your USB hub, passing power and data through to your EUD while simultaneously providing power to compatible headsets. Think about what that means for battery management. Your EUD is being charged while you're using it, and if the AAAs or AAs in your compatible headset die, you're not suddenly without comms. The MPU5 can continue powering the headset through the Dual PTT and its downlead. That's fewer batteries to carry, fewer things to monitor, and less equipment to worry about when you're already managing everything else. But here's another capability that gets overlooked. Any audio from your EUD can be heard directly in your headset. TAK alerts, Signal calls, notifications, or whatever application you're running. Say you're sitting in a hide site, monitoring TAK, maybe listening to something on your EUD while waiting for something to develop. Someone on your team keys up. Your app audio automatically drops, their transmission takes priority, and when they're done, your audio returns to its original volume. No reaching for your phone, adjusting volumes, or switching audio sources. Whether you're moving to an objective, riding in a vehicle, or sitting in an OP for hours, you're keeping your devices powered, your communications accessible, and your attention where it needs to be. So go ahead and jam out to Spotify during infil.

RolP with the MPU5 does far more than just bridging two radios together. Most RolP solutions are built around a fixed gateway. If that gateway becomes congested, unavailable, or just isn't the best path anymore, everyone using it is affected. Wave Relay does it differently. Any MPU5 can become a RolP gateway with nothing more than a cable connected to another radio. No racks. No servers. No IT infrastructure. Just any MPU5 on the MANET. More importantly, you're not limited to one gateway. Multiple RolP gateways can exist on the same Layer 2 MANET, and every time someone keys their radio, the network evaluates topology, RF conditions, latency, throughput, and congestion to choose the best gateway for that individual operator. The entry team might use one gateway. The perimeter another. A command vehicle a third. As the mission changes, those decisions change automatically. They're all talking on the same network, but they aren't all forced through the same gateway. As everyone moves, vehicles reposition, RF conditions change, or another transport comes online, those gateway decisions change automatically. Nobody has to switch channels. Nobody has to move cables. Nobody has to call the comm guy. Wave Relay just adapts. Behind the scenes, the Wave Relay may have made hundreds or thousands of routing decisions to make sure that transmission took the best path available. The gateway isn't assigned to the operator. The network assigns the best gateway to the operator every single time they transmit. Because in the end when things go bad, nobody cares which gateway they're using. They care that when they hit the PTT, someone answers. That's what Wave Relay is built to do.

We spend a lot of time building better tools. History suggests the bigger advantage usually comes from connecting the ones already on the battlefield. The next advantage isn't collecting more information. It's making sure what one person, one K9, one drone, or one vehicle discovers doesn't stay with them. Information alone has never been enough. Shared understanding is what changes outcomes.

The sea has always punished hesitation. Amphib operations taught us that momentum is fragile, reconnaissance taught us that information loses value with every passing second, and law enforcement learns quickly that the first unit to arrive rarely has the full picture. The common thread has never been firepower... it's shared understanding. Modern conflict isn't won by the platform with the biggest gun or a legacy radio with the longest range. It's won by the force that can sense, understand, decide, and act faster than its opponent while keeping every element connected as conditions change. Hardware alone doesn't create that advantage. Wave Relay does. Not because the network can move data, but because it is able to turn scattered people, sensors, vehicles, and aircraft into a single thinking force. The side that learns fastest, adapts fastest, and shares understanding the quickest has always held the advantage. Today, that advantage is measured in the speed of the network.

The #DualPTT simplifies team leader (TL) responsibilities, enhances communication, and provides flexibility. - As the TL, you have to manage your team, coordinate with supporting elements, and keep higher-ups aware of what's happening. That's a lot going on even in a non-combative scenario. At a minimum, you would have to communicate on the internal team net and the channel that higher-ups at the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) are on. - In the past, managing multiple channels often required a dedicated Radio Telephone Operator (RTO) by your side at nearly all times. They'd handle sending SITREPs and relaying info between you and higher-ups while you control your team via the team's internal frequency on your radio. - With the #MPU5 and Dual PTT, you now have the ability to control two talk groups using a single radio. This reduces your reliance on an RTO, giving you and your team more freedom and adaptability during an op. - The Dual PTT has two independent channel and volume knobs, and each knob can be switched to one of the 16 different talk groups. This flexibility means you can adapt to your mission's needs by having quick and effective comms with anyone on the pre-set talk groups. - Additionally, there are two PTT buttons that you can easily distinguish by feel. When you're wearing a stereo headset, the Dual PTT routes one talk group's audio to your left ear and the other talk group's audio to your right ear, allowing you to manage multiple conversations effortlessly. - So, with the Dual PTT, managing these vital talk groups becomes a straightforward and efficient process, tailored to the demands of modern tactical operations and your mission-specific needs. - - - #WaveRelay #TacticalComms #MH6 #160th #pvs31 #tacticalcommunications
