Penn State-Buffalo Preview/Fun Facts (🧵): PSU leads the series 3-1. Buffalo won the first ever meeting back in 1900, 10-0. Pop Warner was in his 1st season as PSU's HC, and Buffalo had no HC. 107 years later, they finally met again in the 2007 season, a 45-24 PSU victory.

The Bulls are 1-1 this season, narrowly beating Albany 21-17 in Week 1 and losing to FIU last week 20-33. Buffalo is coached by Pete Lembo, in his 3rd season. Lembo previously had a FBS HC stint at Ball State from 2011-15. His FBS career record is 48-41.

Super late, but wanted to go over a few PSU-Temple stats/fun facts (🧵): With PSU's win on Saturday, they moved to 41-4-1 in the series. Despite the somewhat lackluster performance, it was actually PSU's biggest win by point margin vs. Temple since 2009 (7 matchups ago).

In the BCS (1998)-Present era, PSU-Temple was technically a "Power 6" matchup one time: in 2003, when Temple was still a Big East member. PSU won 23-10. Temple was officially expelled from the conference following the 2004 season because of "low attendance records"

New: The College Football Playoff says it, too, cannot overturn the Michigan-WMU result, in a statement to @TheAthletic. Also emphasized the committee looks at more than just wins and losses.
