17 years after first playing it, I've gone back to earn the Platinum Trophy for Resistance 2 🏆
That means another @insomniacgames collection is complete, alongside every Ratchet & Clank and Marvel game Platinum Trophy

Resistance 2 PS3 Multiplayer in 2026 - Back Online After 12 Years!

Another UK game studio gone.
Hard to see why anyone would pursue a games career here anymore.
Studios keep closing, support keeps shrinking, and I fully expect more to follow.
There’s barely any AAA left in UK.
Xbox: Ninja Theory is closing down after 26 years as two separate agreements to buy the studio "fell through"

Marvel's Wolverine Platinum 341 (PS5)
Another great one from @insomniacgames added to the Platinum list.
Wasn't big on the bike chase sections, but everything else was good. I felt the story outshines most Marvel movies post end game.

Today, we are excited to confirm that our journey with PHYSINT continues with Asha(@asha_shar) and the team at XBOX.
XBOX understands and shares our bold creative vision, and this expands our relationship with XBOX beyond OD. As we move forward with the development of PHYSINT, we remain committed to redefining the action-espionage genre for players around the world.

Fire Hulst.
An update from PlayStation Studios: After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to step away from collaborating with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on its project PHYSINT. We continue to have great admiration for Hideo Kojima's vision for the game.
Our relationship remains strong after three decades of industry-leading, genre-defining creative cooperation, and we look forward to continued close collaboration with Hideo Kojima and his award-winning independent studio in the future.

PlayStation's statement presents the PHYSINT split as a mutual "step away" after careful consideration with future collaboration expected. Kojima stated PlayStation unexpectedly notified cancellation in mid-June 2026, forcing a 3-month search for a new partner (Xbox).

It gets worse "Sniper Elite: Resistance will be available September 29 in the US, the UK and Japan."
How can something be added to Extra on the 29th when it's already on Essential as a monthly game.
Why they now adding a PS4 game as Premium.
Metro Redux (great game) should be an Extra game.

Will we still have access to the PlayStation 3 games available with PS Plus Premium via streaming.
If not then PS Premium needs a price drop because you're not adding enough classic games as it is.

Saros Platinum 336 (PS5)
Very delayed Platinum for me but thanks to my Portal I found the time to complete another great @Housemarque game.
I'm torn between Returnal and Saros on which is my favorite but if you haven't already you should play both!

Really hope one day we get the old games off streaming and emulate the PS2 versions on PS+ instead
