Over 20,000 children will have to fight deportation alone, and will likely be sent back to the very danger they fled. 🧵
Estrella del Paso has shut down its legal program for unaccompanied migrant children after the Trump administration ended a federal contract and withheld reimbursements. The nonprofit laid off 13 employees and said more than 240 children could be impacted.
