We are rewriting the history📍 Not from boardrooms in faraway cities, but from the hills of Langtang, where rural youth are learning to build and lead. The old story of exclusion is over. The Future is Rural. We Rise. ✨🐆

Great to be here at the Langtang Dam, the biggest dam in the whole of Plateau State. This is more than water. It’s the lifeline of Langtang North and surrounding communities. With the ongoing rehabilitation and expansion, we’re restoring capacity, securing water for our people, and building the foundation for rural prosperity. The Future is Rural. ✨🐆 #LangtangDam #TheFutureIsRural

I've come to realize that maybe I am crazy or something is wrong with me. I am starting to understand why I seem it to most people, my family and friends. Ever since I can remember I have felt this extreme, unexplainable sense of purpose that I relate to everything that happens in my life. Every conversation, every encounter, every interaction, and every situation. I've spent all my time trying to connect the dots and link everything to the feeling. Sometimes out loud, always internally. It's a big mystery. It's not just any old feeling, it's weird knowing that everything that is happening is happening for a reason. It's a happening to fulfill this divine purpose, that is me. It's urgent too. I've tried to ignore it but it doesn't go away so I've learned to live with it, I am here for a reason, I am here to make a difference and I know it, I can feel it, I can see it, I just can't figure out how to articulate it and every time I try I realize that I just can't find the right words and so I spent every moment trying.....I look like some rambling, far-fetched, delusional Taroh mafia, who overthinks everything with the inability to control his emotions. But, I'm building up my emotional intelligence. Maybe my problem is that I spent much time trying to articulate something so "incomprehensible" or maybe I'll find the right words one day. After all. Words are my gift. The point is, it worries me to think that most people don't feel the same sense of purpose, the ability to serve others, and a cause bigger than themselves. Or if they do, it worries me that they are too afraid to express it. I know by this time you think I am a complete psychopath. But, I'm just part of the main. We are all part of the piece. We are here for significant reasons to make a difference. Socrate said. “To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom”

You are a call away from your vision. Yesterday I had some life-changing calls with big bros and a big sis in the diaspora. Big names in the global tech ecosystem. And somewhere in those conversations it landed again: @LangtangIHub is not waiting to be discovered. A rural innovation hub in Africa is already sitting on that stage.

Her words still echoed this morning. “I see the passion and the strategy. You have it all put together. I am here to support and make sure @LangtangIHub has a global presence. I would love to have one in my village.” That is the assignment. Not applause. Replication. If the model works in Langtang, it can work in her village, and in every village that has been told the future only happens in the city. The Future is Rural. #LangtangInnovattionHub

The Future of work is upon us all. The Future is Rural. #LangtangInnovationHub
They said geography determines destiny. I went home and proved them wrong. I left the city noise and returned to Langtang, our village, our only home. No backup country. No Plan B. Just soil, rain, and a stubborn belief that rural kids, women, youth deserve the same future as anyone in Lagos or Abuja. Our father gave a house and ₦30 million. We turned it into @LangtangIHub, Starlink. Clean power. Rural kids who were told “this is not for you” now writing their own code. Youth who were invisible now building. Then June came. We lost my brother Ponjul, my pillar, the one who believed in the Hub when it was still just a dream. Heart shattered. Still breathing. Still building. Grief tried to bury us. We became seeds. The Future is Rural is not a slogan. It is the work. It is 4IR skills so our young people are not spectators in the digital age. It is refusing to accept that excellence only lives in cities. If you are waiting for the perfect city, the perfect funding, the perfect timing you will wait forever. Go home if that is where the work is. Build where they said nothing grows. Plant something that outlives you. Don’t just clap. Show up. #LangtangInnovationHub

Yesterday, I visited Late Nurse Ponjul’s farm. We planted soybeans right beside him. He was passionate about supporting malnourished children in underserved communities. We’re keeping that vision alive, one seed at a time.

14 years ago. Same energy, different chapter. I didn’t have all the answers then, but I had the roots, the people who believed in me, and the quiet fire to keep moving. Looking at this picture reminds me: The journey started when we decided not to settle.🔥✨
