As the next @PhillyPolice Recruit Graduation is upon us (Friday). Today we honor members of class #421 who have served in the U.S Armed Forces. We thank & recognize them for their military service. Each received their respective commendation for that service.

So my good buddy Des (center) and his mom drove all the way up from Virginia yesterday for a CSU visit! Also in the photo are two @PhillyPolice summer interns, all displaying their CSU challenge coins.
1- I heard this radio call that a male was stealing cat converters, so I stopped by to see if the officer needed assistance. The male had a cart of trash/recycling goods, no sign that a crime had taken place. P/O Hines offered the male help, and he accepted. @PPDEastService
2- He recently relapsed but was willing to get services/shelter. I had 2 interns with me, and they had no idea that the police help people like this and were moved. What started out as a criminal investigation, hopefully, can get this person help @PPD26Dist @PhillyPolice

Always impressed by our bike cops, how they can move a protest through traffic in the city, and let people peacefully express their First Amendment rights. @PhillyPolice
I was passing @AbingtonPolice HQ yesterday, and I saw a few APD cops out in the 100-degree weather helping a disabled motorist change a flat tire. Working smart, they borrowed some equipment from the nearby firehouse.
