📍Warsaw, Poland 🇵🇱 #WSF2026
Important discussions on the situation in the Gulf and the strategy for a strengthened EU-GCC cooperation centered on diplomacy, security/defense, and connectivity.
Comprehensive & timely exchanges #WSF2026 on the strategic interplay between Russia’s war of agression against Ukraine and the Straits of Hormuz and Bad Al Mandeeb. Strongly condemn the heinous attacks of Houthis against Saudi Arabia. EU and GCC need each other more than ever.
It was a pleasure 🙏 to host today Mr. Bashar Al Abdulhadi—the founder of KUWAITNET, an open source enthusiast, digital affairs expert, and… a neighbor. 😉

Twelve people were killed and over three hundred were injured as a result of yesterday’s attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
These actions confirm that the Houthi movement is seeking to achieve its objectives through war crimes. The Republic of Poland once again unequivocally condemns attacks targeting the civilian population and civilian infrastructure.
They constitute a flagrant violation of international law and, as such, deserve to be condemned by the international community.
We regard them as a provocation aimed at further destabilising the Gulf region.
Poland 🇵🇱 unequivocally condemns the Houthi attacks on civilian sites in Saudi Arabia.
We stand with the Gulf states for a stable regional order in the Arabian Peninsula and the Red Sea area.

🚲 When Polish teacher Edyta visited an orphanage in Mariupol, Ukraine, she saw children who, despite the harsh conditions, had not lost their joy. They dreamed of having bicycles, because the orphanage had only one. That trip changed her life.
