Newborns need care and protection – even when Russian bombs bring terror and destruction. In Ukraine, doctors and nurses know this very well.
The Polish Medical Mission is helping Ukraine protect its youngest patients and their mothers. Through a project supported by the Polish MFA, 28 hospitals across 16 Ukrainian cities are receiving life-saving medical equipment and specialist training to improve neonatal care in crisis situations.
From Uzhhorod to Kharkiv and Odesa, Polish Aid helps Ukraine strengthen the resilience of the healthcare system. Since 2024, the project has supported around 90,000 patients and medical professionals.
For Oksana, a medical director at a Ukrainian hospital, modern equipment provided by #PolishAid offers a chance to save the lives of the most vulnerable patients: newborns.

💬 The next Multiannual Financial Framework must address the security challenges facing Europe and our entire region.
In our discussions on competitiveness, we also addressed the need for a more assertive trade policy towards our largest partners.
Europe must make better use of its Single Market and treat it as an asset in discussions with our global trading partners.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs @sikorskiradek took part in the YES conference and the panel discussion ‘What we must do to end the war – a European perspective’ during his visit to Kyiv.
During the panel, he emphasised that the key to ending the war lies in the hands of Vladimir Putin:
💬 Russia must withdraw its troops from Ukraine and cease its attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Europe must remain consistent and resolute in its continued support for Ukraine – both militarily and economically. We need “calm, sanctions and solidarity”.
