Trust me, I’m a financial expert… now watch me invent new accounting rules so the deficit looks better. The former PBO called it out, the IMF called it out, and the new PBO says it can’t even be independently checked.
Only the dishonesty is consistent.

The Chairman Of The Board Of Alto - The Completely Stupid Canadian Bullet Train Company Appoints His Own Law Firm To Act On An Infinite Budget
How the Fuck is this allowed to happen?
We know how
Because this is what ALWAYS happens in Canada
It's a BIG CLUB & we aren't in it
Crown corporation @altotrain attempting to build $90 billion regional high speed railway won’t comment on why it hired chairman of the board’s law firm as legal counsel. Robert Prichard is also chair of @TorysLLP, a Toronto firm awarded an “open ended contract”

Extremely pissed that @TheReclamare has had their account suspended.
@Support - please look into this.
The wealth of knowledge in their account is incredible.
Shortly after I announced my campaign for Markham Regional Councillor, my original X account, @joetay1212, was maliciously taken over. All access and control were stolen, and the account name was replaced with @Maye2s1.The attacker then sent messages to nearly 29,000 of my followers, asking them to vote for me as a podcast host and directing them to provide personal information. Took us more than a full week of relentless effort, I finally regained control of the account however, every follower, every post, every content was wiped out! Critical time as such, an upcoming election, losing the platform leaves me and my team handicapped. An accident? deliberate?! Well no time to whine and no time to lose. I simply urge everyone to follow my newly registered and verified official again to support me on this journey if God’s willing, becoming one of four Regional Councillors, Markham.
MY NEW OFFICIAL X ACCOUNT: @JoeTayCA
From this point on, this is my ONLY official X account. Please follow, repost, and help me rebuild what was taken. Let’s not lose hope and never give up!
P.S. As we begin again, I am proud to unveil our brand new campaign button for #TeamJoeTay volunteers as a heartfelt thank you for your support. Voila! DO SHARE! Plzzzz More coming soon….

Here is an idea: let the prices drop until people can afford them. Welcome to the real world!

🇺🇸🇮🇱 Israel’s military project depends on something Washington rarely wants to discuss: massive American backing.
Renowned US foreign policy scholar Professor David N. Gibbs suggests that without that support, Israel will find it nearly impossible to sustain its aggressive military project.
He argues that cutting off or conditioning U.S. support could force a real shift in Israeli decision-making.

Professor Gibbs opened with the line that set the tone for the whole conversation
David versus Goliath, Iran was David, and David won, no ambiguity about it
His read on the MOU: the winning side dictates terms, and that's exactly what happened, even if half the document is deliberately vague
3 active disagreements already, IAEA inspectors, the $6 billion restrictions, the ballistic missile program, and Iran is saying no to all three American framings
The one thing in the MOU that isn't vague, he noted, is Iran's affirmation on nuclear weapons, and he was genuinely surprised they held that line given how many times they've been attacked unprovoked
On Israel he reached for the South Africa comparison, not because the situations are identical, but because apartheid also lasted as long as it did only until its major power backer stepped back
The difference: South Africa had no America behind it, Israel does, or at least did
Netanyahu's personal survival and the interests of the state are now pulling in opposite directions, and the professor thinks that misalignment matters
Israel addicted to war was his phrase, and he meant it structurally, not just politically
The most hopeful outcome he could see: the defeat so thorough it makes the cost of the next war unthinkable

"“Everyone wants to say this at the Petroleum Club, but no one wants to say it in public,” confides Bryan Gould, Shell Canada M&A veteran and now executive chair and founder of Aspenleaf Energy, a private Canadian light oil and gas producer.
The only politically viable path forward on energy, he tells me — however unpalatable for Prime Minister Mark Carney, given the worldview in his book Values — is to stop the games: strip away the barriers and let the free market work."

THIS IS A MUST WATCH - Canada's dirty little secret that our government denies exists
@scoopercooper has been spot on about EVERYTHING. For the past decade or more, the RCMP have seemingly been refusing to investigate and arrest these cartels and shut down their industrial scale meth labs and global export operations, why?
After reading and following Sam Cooper's work, I think many us may know the answer to that question.
"Canada is one of the biggest drug exporters of methamphetamine to New Zealand and Australia in the world. From cartels in Canada to biker gangs in the South Pacific, W5’s Avery Haines investigates the methamphetamine pipeline and the devastation left in its wake" - Source: @CTVNews - Credit to CTV for finally actually covering this.

Advancing Access in the Ring of Fire
@CanadaChrome | $CACR
Environmental work tied to key access roads in northern Ontario continues to move forward, with First Nations leading important steps in the approval process for infrastructure connected to the Ring of Fire.
Marten Falls First Nation has submitted its environmental assessment for a road linking the region to Ontario’s highway system
Webequie First Nation completed its assessment earlier this year
Provincial and federal coordination remains ongoing as timelines point toward potential construction starting as early as August 2026
Measured progress toward improving access to one of Canada’s most significant critical mineral regions, in collaboration with local communities.
Why This Matters for Canadian Chrome Company
Canadian Chrome Company holds chromite interests within the broader Ring of Fire district
Long-term infrastructure development is a key factor in unlocking logistics and project viability
Improved access supports the broader case for domestic chromium supply tied to industrial and manufacturing demand
Infrastructure development is often the bridge between resource potential and long-term economic value.

A Cleaner Way to Refine Chromium And Why It Matters for Canada
@CanadaChrome (CSE: CACR)
* Traditional chromite refining depends on coal, making it one of the sector’s highest-emission steps
* CACR holds a patented natural gas based process designed to support lower-emission, more efficient chromium production
* As Canada works to secure responsible supplies of critical minerals, cleaner refining strengthens the full value chain
CACR’s approach aligns with national climate goals, ESG priorities, and the long-term strategy to build a resilient, Canadian chromium supply chain.

Ginny Roth on Carney's speech in Davos
"And then the bigger problem for me was the pivot to Canada and what we're doing. And I thought that was honestly a wild exaggeration and just not at all true."
"Like this idea that we've removed interprovincial trade barriers, we have not."
"This idea that we've invested in the military, we have not. There's not even appropriated funds, let alone spend funds to get defense spending to where it needs to be."
"The idea that we're getting natural resources to market, that we're driving billions in investment, none of this is true. It's all talk."
"But eventually he's going to get off a plane in Ottawa and Canadians are going to start to say, like, okay, now what? When does the rubber hit the road?"
"Like none of the actions actually speak to the urgency that he's gesturing at." @GinnyRothTO
