Credit to Greasby though, bunch of young lads who we have met the last 2 seasons in the cup and kept at it and improving massively.
Team in turmoil. 15 lads unavailable, had to get an injured, 54 year old Johno to do us a favour in goal ended with the manager playing upfront. Hopefully we can start getting numbers and kickstart our season because this is absolutely shocking at the moment.
One of the worst results we’ve had in 15 years. Just not clicking at all this year after a decent end to the season last year. Different team every week, mistakes all over. Just got to ride out tough patch and see how we do in the cups because we’ve fucked the league up again.
Hopefully this can kick start our season now, 13 players unavailable so hopefully get a few of them back and we can start kicking on in the league.
A re run of last years Div 1 Cup Final, ended the same way as last year but this time we come out on top in the shoot out. 2 good saves by James and 4 perfect penalties by the lads seen us through.
We left it late to equalise but it was the least we deserved.

Same story as last few weeks, creating lots of chances, playing alright in general play but hitting the self destruct button defensively and giving away terrible goals which is unlike us.
Similar to last week, 2 nil up missing good chances. Great by Pagga and a good finish by Ryan. Came out second half gifted them a goal and just didn’t react, mistake after mistake, got it back to 3-3 then conceded another bad goal.
Another game we started strongly but miss chance after chance, 2-0 up and 3-1 up and didn’t finish them off. 4/5 good lads still to come back from the summer and strengthen the team and start putting a run together.
Played well, missed good chances. Lots of top players unavailable, great for young Woody & Alex to make debuts. Lots of positives to take, roll on next week.
Thanks to all the lads who’ve lifted up this year from 17 year old Woody to 54 year old Johno and everyone else inbetween.
Two trophies in the bag & a special January transfer window that’s gonna stand us in good stead going into nxt year, with hopefully 2/3 more fresh faces.
Who needed a win to the win the league, got conditions, no subs. Glad we got it played rather than forfeiting for the integrity of the league but it’s been a slog. 30 games played now. Time to rest now and enjoy the summer.
Struggled all week for a team due to half the team being down at Wembley, had 6 on Friday tea time, tried to rearrange but no suitable date. Got an 11 together last minute couple of injured lads putting themselves forward but just struggled to get any rhythm against a team…
