This account is resting for a while, and I will blend my Geography posts in with my other account: @petergknight . Please find me there if you would like to.

I'm hibernating this account for a while, and will mix my Geography tweets into my @petergknight account. Please follow me there if you would like to keep seeing my bits of Geography. I'm struggling with the overwhelm, so I'm simplifying my social media 'empire' a bit.

Very tempted to use this to introduce the GCSE climate change topic. Probably the best summary explanation of what causes natural and human induced climate change and the importance of action that you'll come across.
Always like to post this when Margaret Thatcher is trending. It’s bizarre so many of the right think climate change is a left wing lie etc etc I couldn’t stand her politics but science is science

Geography Quiz! Can you name the three so-called "Great Capes" - the southern points of South America, Africa and Australia? If you can, well done. If not, look them up here! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_…

OK, ok, it was a trick question in that the Australian one is not actually the most southerly point of Australia. Capes are tricky!

Do you have a favourite cape? Mine would be Cape Farwell (Kap Farvel) in Greenland.
