I believe that Labour has the best interests of the UK at its heart, particularly for those who need the most help from the state. Whoever leads the Labour Party will have my support, even when they make decisions I do not personally like. I have done this with every leader they have had, and I was especially impressed with the changes Starmer brought about that helped return the party to No. 10. I understand why some people feel animosity toward Andy Burnham and his cabinet, but the constant bemoaning of their every move has become detritus, drifting from the obsessive to the frankly ridiculous. I will respect people’s views, but I will not be joining in. My own focus will remain where I believe it belongs: on Reform, the Conservatives, and the other hard‑right fringe parties whose agendas would genuinely do us all real harm and damage the UK. You may disagree, but I hope you will understand. Let us keep our energy for challenging those who pose the real danger, and keep fighting the bad guys even if we may disagree on who the good guys are. Have a great weekend.
