Pi is expected to move toward a truly comprehensive open phase by the end of 2026, achieving a higher degree of decentralized governance, gradually removing existing network restrictions, and promoting the free connection and collaboration of its ecosystem with external blockchains, applications, and developer networks.
PI is the native token of a public blockchain, not a meme coin.
Of course, as the ecosystem matures, many meme projects will emerge on the Pi blockchain. This will take time because many Pi miners have little experience with investing and trading.
PI itself won’t become a meme coin. Instead, as the underlying asset of the blockchain, it will support the growth of memes and other ecosystem projects.
