It was an amazing evening, but this performance just got me. Really moving. Molly was a superstar. The joy on the young people's faces was something else. ❤️

Let's hope Man Utd don't ruin my festive spirit!
Fantastic afternoon meeting the @harrisacdundee Senior Leadership Team & EO for an Attainment Review. Lots of strengths and really clear & ambitious plans for further improvement. Really impressed with approaches to ensure effective use of data. Reminded me of image! Thanks all.
Great morning in @stpaulsdundee for Attainment Review. Enjoyed discussion with HT and Education Officer. Important strengths in 2023 but school more focused on actions & strategies to further improve outcomes for all. Thank you to all staff. ❤️ @MelAinscow @ChrisChapmanGla
I always wonder why we don't look closer to 'home' when we are learning about and from other education systems. Interesting, and unsurprising, results from Ireland.

Too kind, Fiona. Lots of mutual sharing of approaches and techniques. I was actually looking at some of my old AA PowerPoints on data only last night.
Hope Headship is going well. Overdue a catch-up!
Thank you for asking me, the ‘real school’ examples were really helpful. Thanks also to @LewisPatersonSG and to @PFlemingHT for inspiration around using data effectively.
Thank you, Mel.
We are looking forward to the University's in-depth analysis of our approach at our HT Learning Together Day in January.

Encouraging pupil agency with a focus on the learning environment and discussing how we can improve this for all learners.
Really motivational meeting of our Every Dundee Learner Matters (EDLM) Strategy Group today. Thanks to our ELC, Primary & Secondary Head Teachers for their leadership. Thanks also to Professors @MelAinscow & @ChrisChapmanGla for their guidance & Support

Wee surprise when I entered my office today to see that a naughty elf had found his way inside! (Naughty, but fun, office colleagues!)
I need to name Elf seemingly. Thoughts?

I enjoyed visiting Kingspark School today for their attainment review. It was fantastic to hear about the attainment & achievement of our (and Angus') young people & plans for further improvement.
Great to hear progress regarding the use of assistive technology.

Purposeful meeting with secondary heads today regarding how to strengthen the impact of the Every Dundee Learner Matters strategy. There is great commitment, not least to work with and learn from other members of the group. @JohnnyLothian @PFlemingHT @ChrisChapmanGla

Thank you for sharing the work of one of our impactful School Inquiry Groups, Louise.
At our recent Head Teacher Learning Together Day a Depute HT shared @CamperdownPS's SIG's work on improving primary school attendance.

Every Dundee Learner Matters (EDLM) is underpinned by principles of equity.
EDLM focuses on Three Ps: presence, participation & progress.
One tenet is that all settings have at least one school Inquiry group (SIG).
Some SIGs, like in @morganacademy1, are focused on Presence
