The cowardice of adults has forced young girls to lead the way back to reality and common sense.
It shouldn’t have fallen to them. But I couldn’t be prouder of their courage.
We’ll keep fighting until we win back women’s sports everywhere.
BREAKING: Nearly half of the girls cross-country team in Camas, Washington, just forfeited their race. They refused to compete against a boy. This is bravery. Vote YES on I-638 to stand with them. Video: @KnownHeretic
Governor Shapiro is leaving money on the table. So far, he has chosen to not opt in to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. This would cost Pennsylvania parents and students money.
During last week's debate, Governor Shapiro once again balked at opting in, refusing again to make a commitment or announcement.
30 other states, including Colorado and New York, have now opted in to the program, which allows individual taxpayers to claim a federal tax credit of up to $1,700 (or $3,400 for married couples filing jointly) for making qualified cash contributions to Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs).
New York Governor Hochul said,
"I don't want to leave money on the table when it could help our kids!"
Pennsylvania shouldn't either!

Stop Shapiro Administration’s Attack on Parents’ Access to Kids’ Mental Health Records
Parents have a right to know what is happening with their child’s medical care. But new regulations proposed by the Shapiro Administration would make it harder for parents to access their children’s mental health care records.
Children under 14: Current Pennsylvania regulations specifically recognize a parent’s access to the mental health records of a child under age 14. But the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is deleting that clear rule, making it easier for healthcare providers to hide information from parents.
Children 14 and older: Pennsylvania already limits parental access to mental health records when an older child consents to mental health treatment. But these new regulations remove even the limited protections parents currently have to obtain information about that care.
Billing records: The Department is also deleting a provision that allows parents to see what treatments are being given within billing records. Parents can be charged for services without being entitled to information about what they are paying for.
Parents have the primary responsibility to care for and protect their children. The Department of Human Services wants to restrict parental access to critical information, cutting the primary caregivers out of their children’s lives. Government should never stand between parents and the care of their children!
The Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) will consider these regulations on October 15. You don't have much time to make your voice heard!
Ask IRRC to reject these regulations and stop making it harder for parents to know what is happening with their own children.

You made them back down.
“Governor Shapiro is the least transparent governor in modern Pennsylvania history. His Department of Health issued over 500 pages of proposed regulation rewrite, and they were quite egregious. And I want to thank the people who are listening now because it’s because of you commenting during the comment period that they had to pull them back.”
—PA Treasurer Stacy Garrity
Last night, Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial debate put a spotlight on the Shapiro Administration’s sweeping regulatory overreach—and on what happened when Pennsylvanians fought back.
Thousands of you spoke up. You submitted comments. You refused to stay silent. And the administration pulled back its proposed 500+ pages of regulations.
Now they’re at it again.
New proposed regulations could threaten parents’ access to their own children’s mental health records.
We stopped government overreach before. We can do it again.

Harrisburg says gambling generates revenue. But what happens when the state starts counting on people to lose? @DanBartkowiak examines the problem⬇️

Parents, pay attention: The Shapiro Administration is making it harder for you to access your own child's mental health records.
New regulations would remove protections for parents' rights over their children's mental health – including protections for parents of kids under 14.
This is a deliberate attempt by the Department of Human Services to take away parents’ rights to access critical information regarding their children’s mental health care.
Government should never stand between parents and the care of their children.
But that's exactly what's happening. The Shapiro administration wants to cut parents out of the picture and allow minor children to “consent” to any form of treatment classified as mental health-related—including sex-rejecting procedures, or so-called "gender-affirming care."
The Independent Regulatory Review Commission will consider these regulations on Thursday October 15, which is next week!
Pennsylvania parents: Speak up. We've stopped the Shapiro Administration's regulatory agenda before, and we can do it again.
Tell IRRC to protect parents’ rights and access to their children’s mental health records.
