Happy for Lonnie Bass Jr and everyone who stayed the course with him—this is earned. But let’s be clear: when no one was talking about him, Unit 1 Hoop Source put out the first real scouting report and highlighted his strengths—before the big outlets paid attention. I call it how I see it. I believe in taking care of our own. There’s real value in authentic, film-based coverage for players at smaller schools. You don’t need a major AAU program or a big-name school—just truth, exposure, and the right platform.
