Over the past 2 days we’ve been at Blue Flames staging our Yr5/6🐝Netball events. We welcomed 20 teams to the events & we’re lucky to witness some fantastic games. Our participants were awarded @YourSchoolGames Value Certificates by their opponents teacher during each fixture 👏

A pleasure as always to work alongside SGO colleagues at today's WANDERERS CROSS COUNTRY event ! 🌟 A wonderful day for all involved. Well done to each and every competitor, you've all made your Schools very proud! 🤩 👏 👏 Can’t wait to see you all again next year

At the events we collected valuable feedback from the participants on what events / opportunities they would like to see in the future as well as gathering their mood on arrival & when leaving (emoji face jars & voting tokens). We witnessed strong positive values & lots of😀’s

We’ve had an amazing afternoon down at Tyne Amateur Rowing Club. We’ve missed the @BritishRowing Go Row Indoors competitions, so it was great to have it back on the calendar, thanks to Tyne ARC. 6 #newcastle Secondary Schools competed for 🥇🥈🥉& we saw some fabulous races👏

Yesterday saw Day 1 of our KS2 Boccia event, in partnership with @NorthTynesidePE We were at Walker Activity Dome for morning & afternoon sessions & we were lucky to witness some fantastic shots, teamwork, sportsmanship & tactics throughout the day. Huge congrats to everyone👏

Day 2 is upon us……. Like yesterday our participants from across #newcastle & #northtyneside will be supported & encouraged by a fantastic group of young leaders from @KPSsport Our leaders yesterday were brilliant & added real value for the whole day, a credit to their school👏

This morning, with our colleagues from @NorthTynesidePE in partnership with @Panathlon & @Smile_T_Sport we staged the 1st of 3 KS2 SEND Ten-Pin Bowling events. We saw plenty of spares & strikes, the atmosphere was fantastic. More of the same this afternoon & tomorrow morning 👍🏻

What a few days we’ve had. This morning saw our final Yr3 Transition Cricket🏏 take place at Walker Dome. An intervention opportunity allowing schools to support carefully selected students, these events have been very enjoyable, we love working with Tony R on these each year.

Today was Day 1 of our Yr 3 Transition🏏Cricket events. We’re a few years into our collaboration with Tony now, a fantastic local coach, which involves the children playing 🏏based games with their school friends. We had a great time & we hope all our participants did too 👏👍🏻

What a week we’ve had, 17 #newcastle schools participating in our Yr5/6 @SportshallUK competition. We’ve been supported by 3 groups of Sports Leaders from @StCuthbertsCC who were brilliant & we’ve seen many impressive performances on the track & in the field. We’ve loved it ❤️

Today we’re @TynesideBadders Centre for the #newcastle KS4 Boys🏸event. Taking part we have @GreatParkAcade1 @StMarysNewc @DameAllans Callerton, Great Park, Gosforth Acad & RGS. The standard is strong & things are heating up going into round 2🏸

What a day we’ve had at Exhibition Park #newcastle with Andy from BOutdoors for our Yr5 Orienteering event. Huge thanks to GEMS & RGS VI Form students for helping marshall & keep everyone safe. Did anyone find the panda, that’s the question🤔🧐
