ALT A graphic with a dark blue background. On the left side, there is a speech bubble with light purple background and dark text that reads: "I was supported by the occupational therapy team to achieve my goals. I am now more independent, and I can look after myself with the right support. Recently I was supported to follow my dreams and travel to Dubai. I was supported by the occupational therapist to speak up and have my wishes listened to." Next to the speech bubble is a photo of a person standing outdoors, smiling, wearing a patterned shirt, light blue shorts, a bucket hat, and sunglasses. At the bottom of the graphic, in large white text, it says: "Do you see me? – C’s story: The Adventurer"

Read about why #GP surgeries should have more learning disability nurses working in them and why more students would benefit from practice placements in them too @denise_pod @nursemaggi @SAF_Health @edgehill
