Hey, Twitter. It’s been awhile. Today’s random fact: Reds rookie Sal Stewart uses an Overfly bat, which was made in my hometown of El Paso, Texas. Overfly’s factory is in downtown, ironically two minutes away from where the El Paso Chihuahuas play.

Back on the road. Welcome to Clay Gould Ball Park in Arlington. Lamar takes on UT Arlington for a three-game series this weekend.

Didn’t have time to post this earlier since I was inputting stats. Sunsets at Vincent-Beck Stadium are amazing. Great night at the ballpark especially after a 4-1 win over Kansas.

You’d think the world was about to end this weekend or something. This is at H-E-B. It’s only going to be 41 in Beaumont.

First trip with volleyball. Welcome to the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum in Huntsville. Lamar takes on Sam Houston State.

Welcome to Provost Umphrey Stadium. Lamar takes on South Dakota tonight for the home opener. It’s nice to be in a press box where the air conditioning actually works.

A trip home is not complete without watching the El Paso Chihuahuas. Got to see Darrell Hernaiz, who played in El Paso at Americas HS. He’s the starting shortstop for the Las Vegas Aviators.

Looking at the weather back home in El Paso… Man, I’ll take dry heat at 104 degrees over the humidity in Beaumont any day of the week.
