Bit of an odd one out of the blue. Im wondering if any of my followers who are also Job are coping with or have been diagnosed with autism. If you're willing, I'd like to speak to some of you about your experience, particularly about the challenges and regulating yourself in work

Having fun playing around with #Grok and its image generation feature. When I randomly asked for Chuck norris water skiing two alligators, wearing the American flag as a cape, firing a machine gun... I have to say It didn't disappoint Who can ask Grok to make chuck better?

Can I just bring everyone's attention to the potential sacrilege that has appeared in my reels. Vinegar....with steak.... I'm deeply concerned. And feel sort of unclean for having seen it. Chips on a fork would make much more sense 🤔

So my force has been placed on 12 hrs shifts tomorrow with just shy of 24 hrs notice. That's life as a police officer, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating that you get notified on such short notice, having to cancel plans and make alternative arrangements, etc. 😡

Trying to cram a little Traffic legislation for a knowledge check tomorrow. I would welcome any recommendations for quick reading on the following: Sections 1,2,3 RTA 1988 Basic construction and use Basic Definitions under the RTA 1988

1) going to take a break from X for a short while At the moment, the vast majority of my feed is just arguing over the incident at Manchester Airport. I would prefer to remain impartial to this debate and just let the investigation play out.

3) I shouldn't need to say this but I've seen some people getting dragged into this debate which serves no useful purpose. People have a right to be upset, both cops and public alike. But it's not acceptable for any of us to spread hatred, abuse or condemn entire groups of people

5) for now, I expect some busy shifts on the horizon. Stay safe everyone, keep calm and carry on. See you all in a few weeks

2) It is not my place to comment on anything that's going on, despite my opinions and views, doing so would potentially put me in a very difficult situation with my force and could be seen as undermining and unprofessional.

4) I am human, I have faults and limits. Honestly, the behaviour of some people on this platform is just disappointing, and I can feel myself getting wound up by some of the comments on both sides. I'm not infallible, I know this, and I need to walk away now.

Plenty of people seem to think the officer is in the wrong for parking his motorcycle in this position while dealing with the driver for an offence. The position is deliberate to give advance warning to road users. It's also covered by an exemption in law for emergency vehicles.
Not the safest place to park your vehicle to use the nearby cash machine. And no, having a child with you, doesn’t make you exempt 🤷‍♂️ Worsley Road, Eccles. Dealt with by #GMPMotorcycleUnit. Driver reported via a traffic offence report.

ACC, travelling from A-B (not performing routine frontline duties), legitimately uses Stop and Account rather than trying to justify a full stop search, shares a light-hearted joke, and sends the MOP on his way. There are plenty of cops who could learn a lot from this!
On way back from event, conducted stop/account with someone potentially acting suspiciously. Satisfied with his account, taking his details/giving mine, we shook hands. Even had a joke when he said his nickname is "Iffy". Glad I haven't lost the skill to spot someone iffy 🙃

70 years ago today, probably one of the most important men of the 20th century passed away in his home in wilmslow, Cheshire. Historians believe that his work in breaking the Nazi Enigma code probably shortened WW2 by around 2 years and probably saved millions of lives. 1)

5) in 2017, legislation informally referred to as the "Allan Turing Law" was passed to retroactively pardon men who were cautioned or convicted under the historical legislation that outlawed homosexual acts.

6) Alan Turing was also played a significant contribution to the field of early computer science where he helped develop the Manchester computers at the University of Manchester. There is no way to know what our world would look like today had his life not been cut so short
