Today, the sacrifice, hard work and determination paid off. I realised a long held ambition #emf2016 @Blizardphysio
Sad to hear of the passing of Ciara Mageean. She had some great battles with Laura Muir over the years. Here she is leading the 1,500m final at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Balogun (USA) gets a red card… Trump on the phone… suspended one match ban.
Quansah (ENG) gets a red card… Two match ban.
FIFA aren’t even hiding it anymore. FIFA needs to be dismantled. When you’re getting lessons in ethics from Sepp Blatter you know you’re in trouble.
Another stellar kit launch.
Being honest, initial reaction to the home kit is underwhelming. I’ll give it time.
The away kit is much better.
I’ll probably buy both… 🤣
Trying my absolute upmost not to overreact to this. 😭 🤣
Club took a gamble but saw the potential if he stayed injury free. Potential turned into reality. We got the best of him over 3 years. Leaves a legend. Hope he tears it up in the EFL.

Scunthorpe United can confirm attacker Callum Roberts will leave the Iron in order to sign for an EFL club in the coming days.
We would like to thank Callum for his outstanding contribution to our recent history, for providing a number of memorable moments which will live with us forever, and above all being a fantastic professional throughout his time with us.
As with all of our departing players, the door always remains open, and we look forward to seeing Callum flourishing back in the EFL. Good luck for the future, Cal!

It’s been one hell of a season. No shame in losing to a team that finished on over 100 points. Let’s build for next season.
PS - @Calroberts_ please stay 🙏

To a man, that was a superb performance.
@WillEvans34 the colossus… again.
@Calroberts_ with a touch of class. @DannyWhitehall1 tireless leading the line💪
@Oli_Ewing8 relentless!
Thought that was @TyDen6 ‘s best performance in a Scunthorpe shirt!
GP atmosphere 👌

Feels like we’re at a pivotal moment in our season.
We’re still in a fantastic position. As fans we can either turn on the lads or get right behind them. One option MIGHT lead to a positive outcome. One DEFINITELY won’t.

Interesting to see how the top 7 have faired against each other in the @NL_Enterprise @SUFCOfficial well up there and competitive, especially away from home, which bodes well for the play offs if we make it (as long as it’s not Carlisle! 🤣)
I say this every time but @WillEvans34 is a colossus! Take nothing away from Mahady’s POTM but he’s just a brick wall. Wins everything and loves spraying a cross field pass.

ANOTHER BIG THREE ON THE BOARD! Cal Roberts’ goal on his 100th appearance in claret and blue just before half-time gives the Iron victory at the Attis Arena.

Taking advantage of that wind. Excellent performance so far. I think the second half will be a different story though.

Incredible week professionally, mixed with some personal sadness.
Nice surprise from @Ardbeg and perfect timing to raise a glass.
So much to unpack from that game. Kevin Keegan in the house… that ‘save’ from the outfield Tamworth player… Carlton’s missed penalty for the hat trick… Deserved win.
⚽️ 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋-𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄
VICTORY FOR THE IRON! A brace from Carlton Ubaezuonu off the bench seals three points for the Iron, who come from behind to win. Ubaezuonu is denied his hat-trick from the spot via a penalty save, but it’s the three points that matter!

This was pretty standard at Althorpe playing field around the Christmas holidays in the late 90s.
Loved playing in these conditions!

Scunthorpe United can confirm registered player Jonathan Gjoshe was one of the victims affected by the shocking attack on an LNER train bound for London on Saturday evening.
We can confirm that Jonathan sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack, but currently remains in hospital. Due to the ongoing investigations taking place, we are currently unable to update further.
Everyone at the club, from the Board, management and his teammates, along with all staff behind the scenes, sends our heartfelt well wishes to Jonathan for a full recovery, which is also extended to all the victims on board the train.

Should have been out of sight based on clear cut chances. Beestin scores to make it 2-0 and they’re not coming back. However, probably the right result after the abandoned 1-1.

It ends as it was six weeks ago, as Danny Whitehall’s penalty is cancelled out, resulting in a sharing of the points.
