At PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, a sensitisation programme was organized for Class IX students, where PCIM&H officials shared insights into the fundamentals of Ayurveda, healthy lifestyle practices, and emerging career opportunities in Ayurveda.

Today, On 12-08-2026 a MoU was formally exchanged between the PCIM&H, and the IPC, MoHWF. The strategic document was exchanged by Dr. Kousthubha Upadhyaya, Director I/c, PCIM&H and Dr. V. Kalaiselvan, Secretary-cum-Scientific Director, IPC.
This landmark event took place in the august presence of Hon'ble Shri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush and Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at Kartavya Bhavan. The ceremony was also attended by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush and other senior officers from the Ministry of Ayush alongside scientists from both institutes. The renewal of this pivotal agreement marks a continued commitment to the visionary "One Herb One Standard (OHOS)" initiative for an upcoming term of three years.

Today, PCIM&H celebrated its 7th Foundation Day. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Raman Mohan Singh, Former Director, PCIM&H and Dr. Maneesha Upendra Kothekar, Chairperson, NCISM, as the Guest of Honour.
The session was presided over by Dr. Kousthubha Upadhyaya, Director In-charge, PCIM&H, who shared the strategic vision and upcoming milestones of the organisation. The celebrations were marked by the release of the fourth volume of Bheshaj-Sanhita Darpan, which is the in-house Hindi magazine of the PCIM&H. Following this event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for “Training in Quality Control, Standardisation of ISM drugs and Recent Advances in Pharmacopoeial Standards for teaching faculties and PG Scholars of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Sowa-Rigpa Systems of Medicine” was formally exchanged by Director In-charge, PCIM&H and Chairperson, NCISM in the presence of other office-bearers of NCISM namely Dr. Allamaprabhu Gudda, President, Board of Ayurveda; Prof. Asim Ali Khan, President, Board of Unani, Siddha and Sowa-Rigpa; Shri Sachidanand Prasad, Secretary and Dr. S. Mathukumar, Member, Board of Unani, Siddha and Sowa-Rigpa.
