I experienced this today. Felt interrogated by the consultant @NHSuk where she told me that I am imagining the pain and tried to dismiss my symptoms and asked me โyou sure itโs not anxietyโ she made me feel like I was an inconvenience and she knew better about my body than meโฆ

Just had to speak to my daughter, a medical student and advise her not to go out anywhere and stay on campus apart from teaching placements. I never thought I would have to say this to her. My parents had to tell us the same in the 70s. โ at Stratford, London

I ask all of you- who still find ways to question if racism exist within #NHS staff
And also remember that NOT having anyone tackling racism amongst the staff- was a conscious choice made by @NHSE_WTE leadership
