🔥 Serum TKa in #BRAF metastatic #Melanoma - SECOMBIT trial in @CCR_AACR (subset, n=81)
Median split the cohort:
• 5-y OS 70.7% vs 36.9% (HR 3.08)
• 5-y total PFS 60.8% vs 35.0% (HR 2.47)
• Independent of LDH
➡️ TKa-high did better with the sandwich arm, TKa-low with upfront IO.
🎯 Good prognostic biomarker. 54% of TKa-high had normal LDH: aggressive biology you’d otherwise miss, in patients who need tumor control fast

Thanks to a request submitted @AIOM, the drug combination investigated in the NADINA trial, has been included among the treatments reimbursed by the Italian National Health Service (SSN) under Law 648/96, for use as neoadjuvant therapy in patients with melanoma.
