Empty the Shelters is September 18th - 30th with $70 adult dog adoptions and $35 adult cat adoptions thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation 💗🐾 Benji is the dog who was found at a campsite in Ukiah, and this gentleman laid on the ground for 3 hours trying to get Benji to come to him. He told us if no owner came forward, he knew he was meant to adopt this dog. Thank you to everyone who helps animals 💗 You make the world a better place.

(1 of 2) This very special adoption of @BISSELLPets #EmptyTheShelters deserves its very own post. After 864 days, Pepper has been adopted! Pepper came to us May 20, 2024 after being found loose and going to the pound. #dogs #adoptdontshop
(2 of 2) He spent a considerable amount of time in loving foster homes, and his most recent foster decided to officially adopt him! She is a former animal care staff member at our shelter who always had a special bond with Pepper, and we are so happy for BOTH of them! 💗🐾 #dogs
Happy Adoption Day to Heidi! This adopter fell in love with Heidi's sweet face, & we warned her that Heidi was a skittish cat who would take time to warm up to her.
Instead, Heidi surprised us all by immediately knowing that this was "her person" 💗🐾 Thank you, @bissellpets !

ALT Bella (whose name means "beautiful" in Italian, Spanish, and Latin) is glad she's finally getting the attention she deserves!
ALT Baxter (Tucker's littermate) thinks that this is the coolest meet and greet he's had yet! Maybe all this publicity will inspire someone to take him home fur-ever ❤
ALT Tucker enjoys meeting the Round-Up court and even had some hound dog "aroos!" to greet our guests!
