We launched PA’s risk-limiting audit (RLA) of the 2022 governor’s race yesterday. @PAStateDept generated a random seed number by rolling 20 10-sided dice to identify which ballot batches counties will audit. RLAs are the gold standard for election audits. vote.pa.gov/Audits

Under PA law, counties cannot begin pre-canvassing of mail ballots until 7 am on Election Day. We understand that people want results ASAP — but counting takes time. Election officials will work around the clock to count all eligible votes. Keep up at vote.pa.gov.
New @PostVideo exclusive: Acting Pennsylvania Secretary of State Leigh Chapman told The Post in a recent interview that the state expects to have unofficial results from the 2022 midterm elections days after Election Day on Nov. 8. washingtonpost.com/video/pol…

Every county is expected to include undated ballots in their official returns for the Nov election, consistent with guidance & @CommCtofPA decision. Today’s order from SCOTUS vacating Third Circuit’s judgment on mootness grounds does not affect the prior decision of @CommCtofPA.
