@whitehavenafc Ladies 3 - 1 Penrith Pathway
⚽️ Goalscorer: Burke
🌟 Player of the Match: Burke
Penrith produced a strong and disciplined performance against high flying Whitehaven but ultimately fell short.
of these.
The second half saw the game open up with both teams creating chances. Whitehaven extended their lead when Penrith failed to defend a corner and the ball rebounded into the goals.
Penrith responded with a superbly worked goal. Ferguson was set free on the right
wing. Her cross found Kaczor on the back post who played the ball back to Burke to fire home. Whitehaven struck again with a free kick from distance to seal the game.
All in all an entertaining game from 2 good teams.

⚽️Goalscorer’s: Forster (5), Fawkes (1)
🌟 Player of the Match: Forster (1)
Penrith Ladies produced a dominant performance to secure an emphatic 6–0 victory over Blackburn Community,
with confidence. Some excellent passages of play, incisive passing and intelligent movement helped carve open the Blackburn defence, while a combination of individual brilliance and well-worked team goals highlighted the quality within the side.
Despite the scoreline, credit must go to Blackburn Community, who continued to compete until the final whistle and enjoyed spells where they applied pressure and tested Penrith.

Penrith Pathway 3-5 @CUFCLadies
⚽️ Goals: Paice, Roberts, Murray
🌟 Player of the Match: Paice
A disappointing result for a young Pathway team.
Despite having the majority of possession Penrith twice found themselves behind in the first half
but fought back through first Liv Paice and then Sadie Roberts with a beautifully worked team move.
Into the 2nd half Penrith continued to create good chances but were unable to capitalise on them.
Carlisle however proved move clinical when their chances came and raced to a
5-2 lead before youngster Rosie Murray showed great composure to finish off a well worked team goal.
On the whole we can take lots of positive’s from the game as we continue to build each week.
