PAFCAF proudly stands with lawmakers, SCDSS, the Children’s Trust of South Carolina, and our partner agencies as we work to prevent child abuse and neglect. Kim Crowley, PAFCAF CEO, was present as Governor McMaster declared April 2024 to be Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Children deserve to feel safe. During Child Abuse Prevention Month, PAFCAF has worked to raise awareness about child abuse. With gratitude for their support, we have provided lawmakers information about child abuse and lapel pins to show their support for this important cause.
PAFCAF's Coordinator of Policy and Research, Laina Shoemake, recently held a session about Educational Stability for Youth in Care at the SC Foster Parent's Association Conference.
