What did taxpayers get for Carney's $157,189 Armenia weekend?
Global Affairs Canada awarded $157,189 in sole-sourced contracts to four Armenian companies to house and drive Prime Minister Mark Carney's party in Yerevan, a trip whose official readout lists no agreements or funding announcements.

WTF! 🤬
Data from House of Commons Order Paper Questions (answered by the Department of National Defence) show the Prime Minister’s Office billed taxpayers $524,815.04 for in-flight catering across 28 trips between March 2025 and February 2026 (Carney’s first year as PM)!!!
Key details and context
• The total covers food, non-alcoholic beverages, and associated fees (catering handling/delivery, storage, international waste disposal, airport taxes, administrative fees, security charges, and local taxes) for the PM and his full entourage (often 50–70+ people) on government aircraft (CANFORCE ONE / CC-330).
• Highest single trip: roughly $159,000 for the November 2025 visit to the UAE and G20 summit in Johannesburg.
• Other notable trips included about $94,000 for the May 2025 Rome/Vatican trip (Pope Leo XIV’s inaugural mass) and tens of thousands for shorter flights (e.g., Ottawa–Washington).
• Later DND responses covering a slightly different set of trips put related figures near or above $960,000 in some reporting.
Invoices obtained by the CTF for some trips described multi-course meals (e.g., beef tenderloin, veal, salmon, various wines, desserts). Costs varied widely by trip; some shorter or lower-profile flights were far cheaper.
The simplified claim is supported by the parliamentary figures. It is the total catering bill for the traveling party on official aircraft, not solely Carney’s personal meals. The PMO did not provide a detailed public response to the initial reporting.
If this doesn’t make your stomach turn, I don’t know what will! Mark carney is riding Canada hard! We’re getting robbed with our eyes open!!!

Fine wine, braised beef and luxury Normandy butter.
That's the menu on Mark Carney's government plane, and you paid for every bite.
In his first year as prime minister, his flights ran up $524,815.04 in catering, according to government answers to the Order Paper.
One trip to Rome alone cost $93,780 in meals.
Trudeau's whole 2024 Italy trip cost $43,000.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation says the bill is now approaching $1 million.

Ottawa just confirmed it recovered zero dollars from the SDTC green fund mess.
Auditor General found $59 million went to projects that weren’t even eligible and another ~$76 million tied to conflict-of-interest votes. Call it $135 million of taxpayer money that shouldn’t have left the building.
The government’s answer? Recovery is “not in the public interest.”
They shut the fund down. They did not get the money back.
Meanwhile regular Canadians who were overpaid benefits got clawed back with interest. Different rules for different people.

The Greener Homes grant's emissions estimate was revised from 820 to 487 kilotonnes, about 41% lower, says the Auditor General. Ottawa announced a new $2B heat pump rebate Oct 8. Will its estimate hold?

Source: Auditor General (Commissioner of the Environment), 2024 Report 7, tabled Nov 7 2024, para 7.26: "emissions estimates for the Canada Greener Homes Grant were revised from 820 to 487 kilotonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent due to homeowners undertaking more costly home retrofits than originally anticipated, such as installing a heat pump rather than updating home insulation, which resulted in fewer overall participants and lower emissions estimates." The report rated the grant on track. canada.ca/en/auditor-general…

The Liberals decided it “wasn’t in the public interest” to recover $34 million paid to five ineligible green slush fund projects. I asked Minister Champagne a simple question: Who got the money?
No names. Just repeated points of order to shut down the questions. That’s a classic Liberal cover-up.
Liberal-connected insiders benefited from this fund. Canadians deserve to know who received the $34 million. Release the names.
