Last night, the Kevin Sinfield documentary aired on BBC, "Thank You, Sir Kev", celebrating the incredible impact he’s had on the MND community through the money he’s raised and the awareness he’s brought to Motor Neurone Disease. He knows like we do, that the fight against MND doesn’t stop at the finish line. This is a behind the scenes look at our campaign, 'Life stripped Away'. It tells the stories of Jaki, Steve, Tahira and Lorraine, who are all living with MND, and who all generously shared their stories with us. They are a powerful reminder of why this work matters - and why there’s still so much more to do. Help us stop MND.

VETERANS wearing a Poppy are BANNED from from Wetherspoons WOW. Manager of Gosport Wetherspoons states it’s ‘Company policy’ to not allow anyone in with a Remembrance Poppy on as it ‘could be political’ I can’t believe what I just heard from our nations biggest pub chain. Veterans wearing a poppy are banned from Wetherspoons.

From TVP Roads Policing ⚠️ We're grateful to this driver for providing their dashcam footage, complete with audio. We think the soundtrack is a fitting reminder of just how dangerous the decision to drug drive can be. Ahead of them is Emma Dutton, aged 43, of Church View, Wallingford, who drove her car into a pole after falling asleep at the wheel. Subsequent tests showed she was over the drug-drive limit for cocaine ❌ ➡️ Dutton pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and drug driving, and was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on 8 October. She received a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a 22-month driving ban. We say this every time, but please don't drug drive. It isn't worth risking your licence, your freedom, or somebody else's life.

Welcome to #LibDem #Oxfordshire where rural roads are now getting barriers installed across them to stop vehicles using them all in the name of “Quiet Lanes”. They will want us moving to horse and cart soon. Utterly ridiculous waste of taxpayers money.

Remembering five airmen who lost their lives near Black Bourton. This week marks the 82nd anniversary of the loss of Royal Air Force Albemarle V1782, which crashed near the Oxfordshire village of Black Bourton on 27 August 1944, killing all five members of its crew. The Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle, operated by No. 297 Squadron from RAF Brize Norton, was returning to base following an operational mission when tragedy struck. During the attempted landing, the aircraft overshot the runway and crashed in a field at Mill Farm, near Black Bourton. The aircraft was destroyed and all five airmen on board were killed. Find out more: Link in comments.
