At age eight, I ran all Saturday morning for no extra pay.
If you're a manager, you may know that deal.
To earn pocket money, I had asked the farmer in our village for work over the summer holidays. I simply assumed more work would mean more pay. Only that evening did he tell me his terms: he paid by the hour, not by how much I had achieved. A boy who took it easy would have pocketed the same money. Everything my extra sweat produced went to the farmer.
I left the farm and delivered the local newspaper for the rest of the summer. It paid per copy, so every minute I saved was mine.
Pay for hours and you buy hours. Pay for results and you buy results.
A salary is mostly a deal for your time, too. Deliver twice as much this month: your base pay stays the same, and your reward is more work next month.
The farmer kept what my extra sweat produced because he owned the farm.
Today your farm can be a laptop with AI agents running on it 24/7. If it's yours, what they produce can be yours, while your paycheck keeps coming.

You can tell how rich someone is by how they use “loans” & what they buy w them.
Poor people use “debt” to buy stuff that has zero value.
Normal people use “financing” to buy stuff that goes down in value.
Wealthy people use “leverage” to buy more stuff that goes up.

Stand tall. Dont crack. Endure. You can die tomorrow. Today you do the only thing you can do. You fight. You rage on. You do what you came to do. You finish what you started. No matter how much it costs. How long it takes. Or how much it hurts. Because you said you would.
