The renaming of the Chancery Division is disgraceful. What makes Britain unique is that we keep these old titles and constitutional conventions and.. oddities. By casting aside such terminology we do a disgrace to our country.

The proposal isn't worth pursuing even for staunch unionists - how it meaningfully declare a territory indivisible, if Parliament could repeal it with a simple majority? Any law would only last as long as a staunch unionist majority did - one hung Parliament and it'd be gone.🤷‍♀️
The whiplash reaction from the media class to yesterday's meeting in Cardiff is magnificent. Here, Stephen Daisley calls for legislation for it to be impossible for any country to leave the Union.

Needed context: Leaders of Peru’s Sodalitium, including founder Figari, were accused of widespread abuse and cover-ups. Pope Francis shut this down and in response, the organisation started spreading fake rumours to discredit everyone against them religiondigital.org/america/…
