On my flight was talking to a guy next to me & it came up that I run. He starts telling me how I need to train high mileage & pulls up an analysis he’d made of a pro runner’s training on his phone.
The pro runner was me. It was my training.
Didn’t have the heart to tell him.

Asking its athletes to bear the costs of lower participation rates at 70.3 Worlds… @IRONMANtri has sunk to a new low… super disappointing to see the women’s race being treated as a second class event and moved at whim just weeks out from the race…

Yesterday, I had the BEST triathlon finish of my life, finishing 3rd overall female (17 secs behind the winner).
Announcer: "How does it feel to be beat by a girl?".
I don't know, maybe you should ask the *532* men I beat.
Please...DO BETTER. #Triathlon #womeninsports

not all women coaches are good coaches to be sure but hearing something like this anonymously I do question it because of the way women who are ambitious, fiery + demanding are often seen as unfit to be leaders while men with the same traits are lauded as such
