Alhamdullilah Alhamdullilah Alhamdullilah!! CONGRATULATIONS TO HON. AMB. TSADU USMAN
With hearts full of joy and gratitude to Almighty Allah, I celebrate the official confirmation of Hon. Amb. Tsadu Usman as the SHETTIMAN MATASAN NUPE by His Royal Highness, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, the Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.
This is not just a title, it is a divine honour and a testament to my years of selfless service, generosity, humility and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Nupe youths and the entire Nupe Kingdom.
From my days as a grassroots mobilizer to becoming the Zone A Coordinator, City Boy Movement, Niger State Chapter and Special Assistant on Political Mobilization to the Farmer Governor, you have consistently proven that you are a true leader of the people.
The Etsu Nupe has seen what we all have seen a man with a golden heart, a youth leader with vision, and a philanthropist whose generosity knows no boundaries.
May Almighty Allah grant you the wisdom, strength and good health to carry this noble responsibility with excellence. May your reign bring progress, unity and prosperity to all Matasan Nupe.
Ameen 🤲

Yesterday, we witnessed a life-changing moment as we unveiled the eyes of 32 beneficiaries who successfully underwent free cataract surgeries at the General Hospital, Minna, as part of activities marking World Sight Day 2026.
We also provided about 245 beneficiaries with free prescription glasses to improve their vision and support their daily activities.
For us, this is more than a medical intervention; it is about restoring sight, renewing hope and giving our people the opportunity to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
I commend His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago (@HonBago), for his unwavering commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Niger State through the New Niger Health Agenda. We remain committed to ensuring that access to essential healthcare services is not determined by one’s financial circumstances.
We will continue to strengthen eye care services and expand access to interventions that prevent avoidable blindness and improve the quality of life of our people.
A healthier Niger State begins with healthier citizens, and every restored sight is a life positively transformed.

As part of our commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Niger State, we have engaged 4P’S Solutions Limited to provide professional cleaning and pest control services at the General Hospital, Minna, commencing November 2, 2026.
During my inspection of the facility, I emphasised the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for patients, healthcare workers and visitors.
The company will be responsible for routine cleaning, disinfection, proper waste management and effective pest control across designated wards, theatres, laboratories, offices and other areas of the hospital.
We will also ensure regular performance reviews and monthly reporting to guarantee accountability and compliance with established standards.
Quality healthcare goes beyond medical treatment; it also requires a clean, safe and patient-friendly environment. We remain committed to strengthening healthcare facilities across Niger State under His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago(@HonBago)’s New Niger Agenda.

Congratulations, Sir!
Your recognition of meritorious service to the society is on point and well deserved.
Earlier today, I had the honour of serving as Chairman of the Occasion at a two-day workshop organised by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors @NIQSlive Abuja Chapter.
Before declaring the workshop open, I encouraged participants to focus on actionable strategies for integrating life-cycle costing into project appraisal, improving the commercial evaluation of sustainable construction solutions, strengthening digital competencies, and enhancing the contributions of quantity surveyors to national infrastructure development.
I was also honoured with an Award of Honour in recognition of my modest contributions to the profession and society.
I sincerely appreciate the organisers for this recognition and commend the NIQS Abuja Chapter for creating a platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, and innovative approaches to sustainable infrastructure delivery.

NIGER HEALTH COMMISSIONER UNVEILS EYES OF 32 CATARACT SURGERY BENEFICIARIES IN MINNA
The Niger State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Murtala Muhammad Bagana, has unveiled the eyes of 32 beneficiaries who successfully underwent free cataract surgeries at the General Hospital Minna, as part of activities marking World Sight Day 2026.
The exercise was aimed at restoring sight, preventing avoidable blindness and improving access to essential eye care services, particularly for residents who cannot afford the cost of specialised treatment.
Speaking during the exercise, Dr. Bagana attributed the success of the initiative to the commitment of the Niger State Government under the leadership of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, through the New Niger Health Agenda, which prioritises quality healthcare delivery and seeks to reduce the burden of preventable blindness.
He said the intervention underscored the government's determination to ensure that residents have access to essential medical services, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
The commissioner emphasised that eye care interventions remain critical to preventing avoidable blindness, restoring independence and improving the quality of life of citizens, particularly vulnerable individuals who lack the resources to access specialised medical attention.
He further disclosed that about 245 beneficiaries received free prescription glasses to address various vision problems, enabling them to read more comfortably and carry out their daily activities with improved vision.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Niger State Government and its partners for providing them with access to free eye surgeries and corrective glasses.
They described the intervention as a timely gesture that would significantly improve their quality of life and enable them to resume their normal activities with renewed hope.
The free eye care programme forms part of activities commemorating World Sight Day 2026, a global initiative designed to raise awareness about eye health, promote access to eye care services and encourage efforts to prevent avoidable blindness.
The Niger State Government reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery under the New Niger Health Agenda, with emphasis on making essential medical services more accessible, affordable and responsive to the needs of residents.
