Artemis of Bana-Mighdall

“I am not greedy, I just like having options.”

“Would you believe me if I said both?”

“It’s good to see you again. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I missed you.”

“Well welcome back. You’ve been missed. . .you plan on staying?”

“Hi Art — it’s been too long.” ⠀ Jay stared at her as she lifted him like a cat.

You only live once.

My head is spinning… it won’t stop me from getting hammered again tonight.

There’s not a spot in Gotham that isn’t stained with blood.

"Elaborate. If I'm meant to help you fight off the Shadow King, I need to know everything about your people and the area."

"I'm not quite sure that's the same. Mutants, or witchbreed, as we're called in Otherworld are specifically separated from other superhumans by our x-gene." She tries to explain. "So, what you're saying is, you basically have an unstoppable army here?"

This is a world without mutants? More evidence to her theory. "Mutants, like myself, are a more evolved form of human. Natural super people, and the Shadow King's greatest threat. If he's hiding here, Phoenix must've sent me to stop him before..." Rachel pauses. +

Now, that gives her some clue as to why Phoenix may want her here. "Of freaking course! When you drop a mutant in Egypt it's not long til Shadow King shows up. There may be a threat here, but it's not me."

"Sounds like the Avengers." Her eyes roll. "But, not my concern. Where are we? Geographically?"

"Hm. Probably no threat to me then. Though, I presume my presence here has nothing to do with them."

"That doesn't answer my second question..."

"League?" She ponders that, coming to the accurate guess those are the superheroes of this world. "Are they people I'll want to meet?"
