It's been good to see Liverpool (Canning Street, etc) in the past 2 episodes of #Outlander.
It's easy to get there from Scotland, and the city has a lot to offer, so it's definitely a location worth a visit.

Just caught up with Outlander 7.11.
Good episode, but feeling some things were far too convenient - Claire being so easily overlooked as a spy. And how so many officers, etc were happy to attend a party she’d be helping to host. Seems unrealistic, even for those times.🤷🏻♂️

So, more time to look back at another filming location. This one is Finnich Glen, located just north of Glasgow, and used in season 1 as Liar's Spring.

Today we're remembering Preston Mill. Located in East Linton, east of Edinburgh, it was used in season 1 as the mill at Lallybroch, where Jamie hides underwater from visiting soldiers.

Today we're looking back at season 1 location, Aberdour Castle. This @HistEnvScot property appears as the Abbey Ste Anne de Beaupre. It is here that Jamie recovers from his injuries at the hands of “Black Jack” Randall.
