Please stop claiming your hotels are accessible to disabled people when they’re not. I’m a wheelchair user and I booked a non-refundable stay at Comfort Inn—Downtown/DC Convention Center. This is the ableism I encountered at the entrance.

Update: after over 2 weeks of waiting around since my wheelchair was assessed for damage, today @AirCanada finally approved to cover the cost of replacing my chair.
It has been nearly 2 months since this nightmare began and finally now I can begin building a new wheelchair.
