Our Black Party prioritizes the issues that matter most to Black people based on the actual needs of our community.
“I learned that racism, like most systems of oppression, isn’t about bad people doing terrible things to people who are different from them but instead is a way of maintaining power for certain groups at the expense of others.” ― Alicia Garza

Our Black Party demands the redistribution of power and wealth in this country to advance racial and social equity explicitly for Black people.
"To teach means scarcely anything more than to show how things differ from one another in their different purposes, forms, and origins. Therefore, he who differentiates well teaches well."
- John Amos
Our Black Party knows the Black vote ain’t free, and we support elected leaders who understand our priorities and will work to advance our goals.
"We're not a racist organization, because we understand that racism is an excuse used for capitalism, and we know that racism is just - it's a byproduct of capitalism."
- Fred Hampton
#OurBlackParty realizes that Black women carry a disproportionate share of the responsibility for the stability of Black communities and we appreciate every woman and organization that has been formed to aide and uplift our people.
A history of redlining, racism in appraisals, predatory lending practices, and unchecked gentrification have stripped Black families of years of wealth-building through homeownership. We demand the removal of all barriers to homeownership and fairness in lending for Black people.
