Husband: "I miss my family, Pls dear can you prepare lunch tomorrow, so I can invite them, it's been a while." Wife (said with a sigh and reluctantly): "Alright...." Husband: "OK, I will invite them over for lunch tomorrow." The next morning, the husband went to work & at 1pm he came home & said to his wife:" Did you cook lunch? My family will come in an hour." Wife: "No,I did not cook, I felt there was no need, because your family are not strangers, they can eat what is in the house." Husband (Furious by what he just said): "Are you okay? Why are you so insensitive?! You didn't tell me yesterday that you won't cook & they will soon arrive what will I do?" Wife: "Call them & apologize to them, after all, they are not strangers." The husband left the house upset and after a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. The wife got up, opened the door and was surprised to see her family; her parents her siblings & their children! So Her father asked her, "Where is your husband?" She said to him: He left a while ago & I don't know where he went to. Her father said "What do you mean you don't know where your husband went to? Yesterday, your husband invited us for lunch. Is it possible for him to invite us & leave the house?" The wife was stunned by the news, and began rubbing her hands, puzzled that the food in the house was not befitting for her family. She called her husband and said to him: "Why didn't you tell me that you intended to invite my family for lunch?" He said to her: "My family is your family, and yours is mine. There's no difference." She then said to him: "Please help me buy foodstuff when coming, there is no food at home." The husband said: "I am very far from home and your family are not strangers, feed them from the food in the house as you wanted to feed my family."

A while ago I was just chatting with a friend of mine and he was sharing some memories with me based on my post about how tough and rough life used to be. He spoke about how we started from scratch, the struggles we have endured, the battles we continue to fight every day, and the journey we are still undertaking to become better versions of ourselves. Smewhere in our conversation, he reminded me of something about myself... That even in the middle of my own struggles, there were moments when I had extended a hand to others. Moments when I had offered help, provided assistance and shown kindness when when I didn't even have much, like I was still trying to figure out my own life. And that has got me thinking and reflecting so much about myself and life. And I begin to think that true measure of generosity is not how much you have, but how much HUMANITY you are willing to preserve in yourself, even when life has given you REASONS TO BECOME SELFISH. You know it is very easy to be generous when life is comfortable, when your account balance is heavy😄 or when your problems are manageable, and you have more than enough to spare. But there is something particularly beautiful about someone who, despite struggling to find their own footing, still finds the strength to help another person stand. You know it is very easy to think that the people who are helping us have more than enough... THAT IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE. Don't always think this person is giving to me because he has it in abundance. Most times it's not like that. Most people are sacrificing what they have from the goodness of their heart. Kindness does not always come from abundance. Sometimes, it comes from understanding what it feels like to lack something. Personally, I have been helped by people who contributed to my growth in ways I may never be able to repay. Some gave me opportunities. Some offered encouragement. Some provided assistance when I needed it. Others may not even realise how significantly their actions influenced my journey. And the truth is, some of these people may NEVER need anything from me to give them back. They may be doing better financially or otherwise and will never need my help because God has blessed them. I may never even occupy a position where I can offer them the same kind of assistance they once offered me. But does that mean the cycle of generosity should end with me? ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you cannot repay the hand that lifted you, you can become the hand that lifts someone else. If someone made your journey a little easier, you can make another person's journey a little less difficult. If someone believed in me when I was struggling to believe in myself, I can choose to believe in someone else. If someone opened a door for me, I can hold another door open when my turn comes. That, to me, is the beauty of paying it forward. GRATITUDE should be more than a feeling we express towards the people who helped us. It should become a principle that influences how we treat the people who come after us. That, my people is how we make our society, our country and the world a BETTER PLACE.

The geopolitics of 2026 is beginning to look like a group project in which everybody is fighting, everybody is mediating, and nobody wants to admit who started the argument. Like a room full of people trying to put out fires while carrying matches of their own😄😄 PUTIN and MOSCOW is mediating peace talks between Iran and the United States... President TRUMP and WASHINGTON is mediating peace talks between Russia and Ukraine... IRAN is mediating peace talks between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis in YEMEN. PAKISTAN and ISLAMABAD is mediating peace talks between Iran and the United States... The United States is mediating peace talks between PAKISTAN and INDIA. And they're all calling on both sides to exercise restraint😄

Let us go back to the FRENCH student protests, which has escalated to this mega crisis. I know a lot of us think and believe that at it's core this PROTEST or RIOT (whatever it is) is as a result of IMMIGRATION and RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM. But the truth is, we cannot ignore the place where this protest was hijacked from to begin with. Even if these protests end today, there will be a mother of all protests from November through March next year. The winter is coming. The cheap electricity to heat their homes is no more. The reason is simple... FRANCE had the cheapest electricity in Europe and even went ahead to name Paris the "city of lights". In 2023 alone, France exported electricity worth $7 billion to Europe; in 2024, it exported around $8 billion. Do your research. Let's take 2024; that's about 10 trillion Naira😄😄 This cheap electricity is mainly powered by NUCLEAR. The "yellow cake" mainly came from NIGER, a nation that literally has no electricity and ranked one of the poorest on earth, where kids start school at 14 years because of distance from home! FRANCE turned post-colonial Niger Republic into a vassal state where it extorted uranium. France has looted uranium in Niger since 1957 or even earlier. Where FRANCE managed the mines, logistical chain and even who became the president. Those who didn't dance to the dogs' whistles were overthrown or assassinated on the orders of Paris. I hope you now understand why France seriously mourned the overthrow of their last colonial CARETAKER in Niger, called MOHAMED BAZOUM, and severely tried to reinstate him. Do you also know that Niger has since gone through so many coup attempts sponsored by FRANCE? Most of you are aware that France has the fourth-largest gold reserve on earth. Where is the gold from? Majorly looted for over 50 years in BURKINA and MALI. That aside, France still maintains a colonial monetary framework with 14 African economies. The truth is that, the breakup of BURKINA, MALI and NIGER from FRANCE greatly devastated their economy. I hope you now understand what French president Jack Chirac said: "Without AFRICA, FRANCE will slide to a THIRD WORLD country."

Have you observed that older people are more humble than the younger folks? Likeeee, older people gain a sense of humility as they get older... The thing is that PSYCHOLOGICALLY, aging is a gradual process of letting go of your ego. As we grow older, we begin to realise that we cannot control everything in life. The confidence we once had in our ability to figure everything out slowly fades as life teaches us, through repeated failures, that sometimes, things simply do not go as planned. When we are young, we often think we understand life better than we actually do. Before experiencing serious financial struggles, illness, or the end of a long relationship, it is easy to believe that success comes simply from hard work, intelligence, and determination. But as we grow older, we begin to understand the role of luck and circumstances. We watch intelligent, hardworking people struggle while others, sometimes less capable, succeed. Eventually, we realise that although our choices matter, they are not the only things that determine how our lives turn out. When we are young, we often feel invincible, as though our bodies can handle anything. But as we grow older, we begin to notice our limits. We get tired more easily, take longer to recover, and realise that staying healthy requires more effort than before. These changes remind us that we are not as strong or indestructible as we once thought. In time, we become more understanding of other people's struggles and more compassionate towards their weaknesses. Sometimes, it is by experiencing our own vulnerability that we learn the true meaning of humility.

To defend RONALDO today, his fans needs to travel back to 2008. 18 years ago. LOL.
The Truth is, whoever came up with this award is unfair to Messi and other ballon dor winners. There is no version of Messi or any footballer, dead or alive, past or present that is better than 2008 Ronaldo.

Last light, I was searching for an article on PUBMED to write a work when I stumbled on an article published in a journal and decided to take a deeper look. So this patient a 64-year-old woman from southeastern New South Wales. In January 2021, she went to her local hospital and complained of weeks of stomach pain and diarrhea. Then came a dry cough, fever and night sweats that became serious. Doctors ran test after test, but none of them found nothing serious. Then, in 2022, over three months, she became forgetful and her depression got worse. An MRI at Canberra Hospital showed an abnormal patch in the right frontal lobe of her brain. In June 2022, a neurosurgeon called HARI BANDI opened her brain up to take a look. With her forceps, she pulled out this thin red worm. It was about 8 cm long, and it was still moving!!! The worm was sent to a parasite expert at Australia's national science agency, who identified it as OPHIDASCARIS ROBERTSI, a roundworm that lives in CARPET PYTHONS. It was the first reported case of it in a human. So this woman lived near a lake where carpet pythons are found. She used to gather a native plant called WARRIGAL GREENS there to cook. Researchers believe a python had shed the worm's eggs in its droppings on the plants, and she swallowed them. An Infectious diseases doctor SANJAYA SENANAYAKE said it was, to the team's knowledge, the first time this parasite had been found in the brain of any mammal, human or otherwise. The case was published in the journal I found it. The journal is titled EMERGING INFECTIOUS DISEASES in 2023. The infection does not spread between people. As of August 2023, the woman remained under the care of infectious disease and brain specialists. I've been wondering how this larvae was transferred from her digestive tract, crossed the blood brain barrier and then situated itself into her right frontal lobe in her brain! The first image shows the worm in a specimen jar at Canberra Hospital. The second image shows the patient's brain scan, with the affected area in white. And the last image was the live larva after removal. SCARY....

Saying that God drove Adam out of the Garden of Eden because he touched and ate his "TITHE" is a very STRANGE DOCTRINE. And I think we need to be careful about the theological conclusions we draw from biblical stories, especially when those conclusions are used to teach people about MONEY, GIVING, and their RELATIONSHIP with God. In the second Chapter of Genesis, God instructed ADAM that he could eat from every tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God warned him against eating from that particular tree. Later, in Genesis 3, ADAM and EVE ate the FORBIDDEN or RESTRICTED fruit. And later in Genesis 3 God sent them out of the Garden of Eden. That is the biblical account. So where does the Bible say that the forbidden fruit was Adam's tithe? Where does Genesis describe the tree as God's tithe, the fruit as an offering, or Adam's action as the withholding of a tenth of his income? IT DOES NOT. The text presents the event as an act of DISOBEDIENCE to God's explicit command. It does not identify the fruit as a tithe. There is a difference between what Scripture says, what we infer from Scripture, and what someone teaches in the name of Scripture. We must not confuse the three. Tithing is discussed elsewhere in the Bible. Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of the spoils in Genesis 14... The law of tithing is addressed in the book of Leviticus and the book of Malachi contains the well-known rebuke concerning tithes and offerings. Christians differ on how these passages apply to believers under the New Testament covenant. But regardless of one's position on tithing, none of these passages establishes that the tree in Eden represented Adam's tithe. So why should we attach a financial doctrine to a story that does not explicitly teach it? Why should we turn the first act of human disobedience into a lesson about tithing when the text itself identifies no such connection? And what happens when interpretations are repeatedly presented as though they were the unmistakable words of God? People may begin to fear that every financial difficulty is evidence of withholding God's money, or that every act of giving is a transaction in which divine favour must be purchased.

President PUTIN is reportedly plotting a stunning power grab with President TRUMP and President XI... They are planning a summit to decide Ukraine’s future WITHOUT Ukraine even at the table. According to the Wall Street Journal, PUTIN proposed that the three leaders meet next month in China to negotiate an end to Russia’s war on Ukraine on terms favorable to Moscow. Ukrainian President ZELENSKY will NOT be invited. It reminds me of the words of Canadian Prime Minister MARK CARNEY in Switzerland earlier this year he said... "If you are not at the table you are on the menu..."😂😂

You can tell a lot about a person by looking at two things in their life... Their CALENDAR and their BANK STATEMENT. It's all about PRIORITIES. Listen to what people say, and you will hear their intentions. But if you observe how they live, and you will begin to understand their priorities. Someone may tell you that family means everything to them, yet never make time for the people they claim to love. Someone may insist that their future matters, yet consistently sacrifice their long-term goals for short-term pleasures. Someone may say they want financial freedom but they spend every additional income they receive trying to impress people who are barely paying attention. Someone may tell you that their health is important, yet continually postpone the habits or do the things that would protect it. And someone may say they want peace while repeatedly choosing the very situations that disturb it. The contradiction is not always that people are lying. Sometimes, they genuinely believe what they say. They simply have not examined the distance between their intentions and their habits. Because wanting something and organising your life around it are two very different things.

I don't know about you, but I've thought about running away more as an ADULT than I ever did as a CHILD. As children, we dream of growing up. We imagine adulthood as freedom.... No one telling us when to sleep, what to do, where to go, or how to live. We believe that growing up means finally having control over our lives. Then see, ADULTHOOD arrives. And suddenly, we begin to understand why some people sit quietly in their cars before entering their homes. Why others stare at the ceiling long after midnight, negotiating with thoughts they cannot explain. Why a simple question like "How are you doing?" can feel like an examination we are too exhausted to take. Adulthood is not merely about becoming responsible for yourself. It is about becoming responsible for so many things at once. Your dreams. Your finances. Your relationships. Your family. Your future. The expectations of people who believe you are doing better than you actually are. And somewhere in the middle of trying to keep everything together, you begin to wonder when you will finally have the opportunity to put yourself back together. As children, when life became overwhelming, we could cry, run to someone, or hide beneath a blanket and believe that tomorrow might be better. As adults, we sometimes become the very people others run to for comfort. We become the dependable ones, the strong ones, the ones who always seem to know what to do. And because everyone has become accustomed to our strength, they sometimes forget that strength is not the absence of exhaustion.

In WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE's work titled JULIUS CAESAR... Just Incase you've read that play... He said and I quote, "Those who want to set a big fire starts with the very weak straw..." I think it was in Act 1, Scene 3... CASSIUS was talking to CASCA during a violent, thunderstorm in Rome. He was trying to recruit CASCA into the conspiracy to assassinate JULIUS CAESAR. SHAKESPEARE used the metaphor of a fire to complain about how easily the Roman public has allowed CAESAR to rise to absolute power. SHAKESPEARE was trying to say in the play that that CAESAR isn't really a terrifying "LION" or a predatory "WOLF"; rather, he is only powerful because the ordinary Romans are acting like weak "sheep". The "Mighty Fire" represented CAESAR sudden, tyranny and supreme power. While the "Weak Straws" represented the submissive Roman citizens. Look at our country today. How often do we complain about political leaders while defending them when they behave in ways we would condemn if their opponents were responsible? How often do we criticise corruption in the morning and celebrate politicians accused of similar conduct in the evening because they belong to our political camp? How often do we excuse incompetence because a leader comes from our ethnic group, speaks our language, shares our religion, or promises benefits to our community? And how often do we mistake loyalty to a politician for loyalty to the country? These are uncomfortable questions, but they deserve honest answers. When citizens abandon independent judgment, when institutions fail to enforce accountability, and when political loyalty becomes more important than public welfare, THE SPACE FOR UNCHECKED POWER CAN EXPAND.

Living for yourself does not mean living without considering others. Independence is not selfishness. Boundaries are also not permission to become inconsiderate. And the fact that someone is disappointed with your decision does not automatically mean you are right. Sometimes, people criticise us because they misunderstand us. Sometimes, they criticise us because we have genuinely hurt them. Sometimes, their concerns reveal something important that we failed to consider. Listen when people offer sincere advice. Take responsibility when your decisions cause avoidable harm. APOLOGISE WHEN YOU ARE WRONG. Consider the consequences of your actions. But after you have listened, reflected, and acted responsibly, understand that you are not obligated to abandon a sound decision simply because someone dislikes its outcome. You can respect another person's feelings without allowing those feelings to dictate every direction your life takes. You can love someone without obeying every expectation they place on you. You can appreciate someone's sacrifices without surrendering your entire future to their preferences. And you can disappoint someone without becoming A BAD PERSON. 🍷🍷

One of the uncomfortable truths about ADULTHOOD I've come to realize is that there is no version of your life in which everyone will be happy with your choices. IT DOES NOT EXIST. You can spend years trying to become the person everyone approves of, only to discover that people have different ideas about who you should be. Your parents may want you to choose a path, while your heart is drawn towards a different path. Your friends may expect you to remain the person they have always known, even when you have outgrown the life you once shared. Some people will celebrate your ambition until it requires you to spend less time with them. Others will support your growth until your progress reminds them of the dreams they abandoned. And some will love you sincerely but still struggle to understand decisions that do not fit their expectations.

There is a difference between STANDARDS and WALLS. Not everyone who struggles to get close to people has high standards. Sometimes, they simply have high walls. And although the two may look similar from the outside, they are built for entirely different reasons. Standards are built from self-respect. WALLS are often built from SELF-PROTECTION. The expression of STANDARD is like saying “I know what I deserve, and I will not compromise on the values that matter to me.” WALLS says “I have been hurt before, and I will do everything possible to make sure nobody can hurt me that way again.” One helps you choose wisely. The other may prevent you from choosing at all. Think about relationships. You say you want honesty, loyalty, emotional maturity, consistency, and mutual respect. Those are reasonable standards. But what happens when someone makes a mistake? What happens when someone disappoints you without intending to hurt you? What happens when a person who genuinely cares about you has a flaw, misunderstands you, or struggles to express themselves perfectly? Do you communicate? Do you give them an opportunity to explain? Do you assess their character over time? Or do you immediately withdraw, shut down emotionally, and convince yourself that their imperfection is proof that they were never worthy of your presence? Because there is a difference between recognising a red flag and treating every imperfection as one. A person can have flaws without being toxic. A relationship can experience conflict without being unhealthy. And someone can disappoint you without deserving permanent exclusion from your life. The goal is not to find people who never make mistakes. It is to find people who can acknowledge their mistakes, take responsibility, learn, and grow with you.
