Apparently this Wednesday's FOMC is the most important of our lifetime. People say this a lot especially when price action has been this bad leading up to it.
The good news is that historically similar lead-ups led to a short-term relief bounce.
Remember when markets turned around on March 30th, even before the war was presumed to be over?
Markets are forward looking, and you shouldn't be surprised if the fear/uncertainty around midterms gets front-run as well and stocks take off before that gets resolved.
$SPY it's been two months of downtrend since the last ATH. Showing the top 2 analogs with over 90% accuracy + consensus in green across 67 total matches windows, the next few months should see a comeback rally.

Crazy stuff. Had to lower the threshold cause >25% wasn't finding any matches. Last time it crashed over 20% in a day was during Covid.

Perfect illustration of why we are at mid-cycle (look at 2019-2020) and the true cycle top hasn’t happended yet.
The top #Bitcoin $BTC historical analogs for the past 6 months of price action are leaning unanimously to an immediate range break to the upside towards the $105k-$120k range, followed by a new months-long consolidation.
The 2022-2023 fractal for $BTC everyone's been talking about... Would indicate a very quick repricing, very soon. One analog is not certainty, but this one has been doing rounds lately.

Yesterday was quite the day.
10 year yields $^TNX, Bitcoin $BTC, Gold $GLD down more than 2% and $SPY down more than 1%, all in a single session.
This is a very rare combination, so I wanted to find when it last happended. All I had to do was type as I did above, and the engine found the single instance when this took palce, on September 21st 2020.
A strong reversal followed.
$QQQ today vs. compared to other mid-term years up to this point. 3/4 went immediately higher into a months-long uptrend.

$BTC historically likes this staircase pattern of consolidating within a range, putting in a few days of exceptional performance, then chopping some more at a higher range.
If this keeps up, we could enter a $100k to $110k range by the beginning of November.
Could $BTC be following $SMH $SOXX's path from 2019-2023? The shape has been tracking very closely with #Bitcoin's recent bull cycle and correction. A continuation leads to a 100% gain in the next few months.
This was found with the Cross-ticker tool. As capital rotates down the risk curve, it is possible that Bitcoin has lagged this cycle and could start tracking with Semiconductors which already have seen most of their gains.
