Alright, I have a bunch of thoughts on this. Strap in if you have time to hear me rambling.
First of all, if you have just joined ordinals from another chain, welcome! I sincerely believe you will have a lot more fun in our little ecosystem.
And let's face it, everyone here is in it primarily for the money. I'd be surprised if anyone in web3 says otherwise.
But was it the money alone which tempted me to left curve into ordinals early last year?
Absolutely not. Let me elaborate:
February has been THE month of Bitcoin Ordinals so far.
Absolutely insane pump towards the end of the clip.
Since the beginning of February:
Ordinal Maxi Biz: 0.5 -> 0.95 BTC
Nodemonkes: 0.17 -> 0.4 BTC
Bitcoin Puppets: 0.04 -> 0.16 BTC
Quantum Cats: 0.1 -> 0.3 BTC
The top Ordinals collections have thus massively outperformed the top Ethereum NFT collections.
