- He/She:
But what makes your app different than the rest?
- Me:
Honestly, no single feature. I went through the top apps in five markets while building this, and what's uncommon is the combination.
Most offline trackers drop two or three of these: splitting one transaction across categories, a forecast of what's actually left after upcoming bills, debts and IOUs, savings goals, lock screen widgets, PDF reports, and a backup file you own and can restore. The apps that have all of it are bank-connected and around $100 a year.
Wallety has no account, no server, no bank link, and a one-time purchase if you want it.
- He/She:
Just bought it, thank you for the kind response.
- Me:
Thank you, that means a lot. If anything feels off or you hit something missing, tell me here or in the app. I read everything, and small fixes usually make the next update.

Aha! Now I have a solid excuse to pull my son into my React Native world by stepping into his chess one 😎
Have a nice trip, Kacper!
I'm working on Wallety, an offline budget planner built with Expo, live on iOS and Android.
No backend at all, just SQLite on device with Drizzle. That shapes the agent workflow more than I expected.
The fun part is everything downstream of the code though. The store assets and preview videos are rendered by Python and ffmpeg scripts an agent wrote and keeps tuning, and the listings are agent-written too. Sixty videos, ten across six languages, no video editor involved.
Coffee sounds good 😎
I build small, private apps, and I ship them alone.
Wallety is a budget planner that works fully offline. No account, no bank linking, nothing leaves your phone. It shows what is actually safe to spend after your bills, not just what you already spent.
Qurany is a Quran companion that tracks your reading and memorization habits. Circles let you share a goal with family or friends and keep each other going, and only what you share into a Circle ever leaves your device.
No ads in either one. Nothing sold to anybody.
I also build iOS, Android and web apps for founders, from research and scoping through to launch.
