Not to mention, Canada pays 54 billion in interest on our national debt while sending billions to other countries. 13% of income tax collected goes just to interest. We are living on a credit card.

India has been our #1 source of immigration for a few years and by a large margin, but I suspect this is to bail out the housing sector and prop up nominal GDP. It's got nothing to do with high demand for labor.

The frickin Canadian government didn't even know the soldiers stole a bunch of rounds and shit for this robbery until the cops brought them back the items. 😂. But let's not focus on that blunder. Crypto bad 😭

Canada's financial intelligence agency is the one your bank and your exchange report to. Over the last five years, it wiped the supplier names off 100 of its own contracts, worth more than $26.7 million. The Hill Times says it's the only government agency to do that without giving a reason. One of those lines: $1,576,009.59 for "data and database access services." Vendor: REDACTED. Privacy for the watcher. Transparency for the watched.

Damn this is insane They want young generations, who already have nothing, to support the retirement of older generations, who had decades to save This is why the US economy is dying
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 US boomers overwhelmingly support higher taxes on younger workers to maintain current Social Security benefits, poll shows.

Glenn Beck on Canada's big six banks: "Any rule that can say go can also say stop." He's right. Here's what the banks actually announced. On Sept 22, RBC, TD, BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC and National Bank unveiled a shared tokenized deposit system for "programmable payments." Twelve days earlier, OSFI said a tokenized deposit is "not legally distinct" from a regular one. Same deposit. Same bank. Now the rules ride along with it. And in January, the Federal Court of Appeal confirmed the 2022 Emergencies Act order, the one that had banks freezing accounts, violated the Charter. Programmable money is only as free as whoever writes the program. Bitcoin's rules were written in 2009. Nobody gets to add one to your coins.

The elites have the means to hide their money in tax shelters, hence the poor & seniors feed off the middle class. The elites then intentionally destroy the middle class so everyone becomes dependent and controlled. The poor and seniors cheer them on and detest the middle class. Elbows up!

Canadians have to be the most economically illiterate people in the developed world Our economy has been flat for 11 years but nobody even talks about it We are now poorer than the poorest American State (Mississippi)

Way too many Canadians work for government. Or work in places subsidized by government This model only works if you have a capitalist giant to sell into But Canadians think they’re better somehow than the country that made our socialist system feasible for a while

The ONLY reason long term prices increases occur is because of expanding the money supply The reason a movie ticket in the 1970s was $1.50 and not $20, like today, is not because movies got scarce or popular It’s because our money is worth that much less

Bitcoin is up 282% since Trudeau said buyers “would have lost more than half their life savings.” Still waiting on that apology, @JustinTrudeau

People say inflation is fine because you’re supposed to invest in assets that outpace inflation The problem is that is not reality at all The reality is ~60% of the US either lives paycheck to paycheck or saves in dollars So basically, inflation screws the majority of people over badly

Not that simple. Bureaucracy and corruption run rampant in unions which makes it unviable and you end up paying for subpar care. As well people take advantage of it. Have you not seen the emergency rooms filled with people with a runny nose like a home remedy couldn't fix. It becomes unaffordable for the tax payer Half of the Alberta budget is to AHS

Canada is run on a pyramid scheme if you don't increase population, pensions and healthcare will fail. The number of working-age people for every senior aged 65 and older dropped from 7.7 in 1966 to 3.4 in 2022, and is projected to fall near 3. Young people now pay more tax's to support a failing system than their predecessors did and doubtful they will even collect a pension when they reach retirement age as Canada's birth rate is dramatically declining and is producing half of what is necessary to sustain Canada's pensions and healthcare costs.

This is the kind of law people want for Canada, scan your face or upload your photo ID in order to play video games. – at Toronto, Ontario
So, @PlayStation is basically unusable for me now. The UK Online Safety Act means I have to hand over a face scan or government ID just to use basic features. My PAYG mobile isn't accepted, and I’m not giving biometrics to a company with a history of massive data breaches. #Ps5

I don’t remember the last time I used one of these but … if it’s really about “fraud” the scammers will just direct people to buy prepaid gift cards instead 🤷‍♂️
LATEST: 🇨🇦 Canada has proposed banning crypto ATMs nationwide, calling them a primary tool for scammers and money launderers.
