Today's tweet brought to you by people trying remember how this old platformy thing works.
364 days of the year: Glitter? No, no, too immature. Halloween: That'll be £145 for all your glitter-based products. Me: Here's my card.

If there is a first circle of modern hell it is McDonald's on a Saturday with a small child. – at Oxford, England
Highlight of Day: Calling Highway Commission about fallen tree... Told to call police.. Who told me they would call...the Highway Commission
Today I successfully iguanaed and forward fished. As one should on a Sunday. #polegoals – at Oxford, England
Just realised I have spent 2 1/2 hours attempting to make 12 waffles in a silicone mould.
I've learned that once a child outgrows the stroller the next logical step, outside of screaming at them constantly to walk, is a scooter. 🤣

One of the biggest insults I endured as an immigrant was to be called a 'legal alien.' It made me feel barely above human.
Remember, everyone has a story. If there was one thing being an immigrant for 7 years taught it is to listen, and not give in to reaction.
Someone once told me I was one of the "right immigrants." This was five years ago. The thought still makes me sick.
When I was an immigrant I was told to "go home" by job recruiters. Me, a white college educated woman. Who knows what other races endure.
Passed a #RefugeesWelcome protest in Oxford today. As a former immigrant seeing people unite together welcoming all races brings me hope.
